The problem with Dennis, and alot of media types, is they feel like they are entitiled to the internal thoughts and opinions of these athletes. Because Tony did not want to disclose how he truly feels and thus, provide Dennis with a better story, he's using the lack of disclosure as a way to characterize his mentality. Dennis is oblivious to the fact that Tony could give a rats *** what kind of story Dennis would like to provide to Ch 11 viewers.

If what he means by golfer mentality the ability to move on from a bad play then good. In golf a player can't dwell on the last shot he has to move on to the next shot. When the round is over they go out and work on things that cost them but during the tournament you can't do anything to change the last shot you can only move forward to the next.
