I disagree. If a player's knee touches and then the player extends the ball into the endzone, that won't be a touchdown.

i thought that's what we said. where the ball is WHEN the knee hits.

It's where the ball is when the player's knee touches. Once the knee is down, the play is dead.

Did the league make a mistake allowing the big screen tv. I keep hearing how the kickers were having trouble avoiding it.

I assume you won't get a rekick so is it an advatage like how broncos at milehigh.

You do get a re-kick.

Offense looks sharp.

Defense looks sharp.

lets get the backups in and lose this game!

Well duh... that's not at all what I was talking about.

Well, duh ... that's what I was talking about. You're tripped up, your knee touches, then you extend the ball. The ball goes where your knee touches.

I seriously cant believe people on here are arguing over something like this, its where the ball is when the knee touches geez! have some self respect:)

You are not actually disagreeing with him. The rule is when the knee first touches down, the position of the ball is the line of scrimmage for the next play. If a player extends before his knee is down, and its over the line, its a TD. If his knee is down before he extends then its no TD.

Well, I'd say that Witten is just as good as Gonzales was at this time in his career.

I'm not saying you're making a ridiculous argument or anything. But, I do think this is very subjective. I think a case could be made for either player, or a few others.

Im just sayin Gonzalez is the best all time according to stats, which doesn't really mean a whole lot. Just like Witten is one of the best not just because he is a Cowboy, he just happens to be one.

No, the ball goes where the ball was last.

Correct. It's where the ball is when the player's knee touches. So the ball goes where Crayton's knee touches because at that time that's where the ball is.
