Jimmy johnson is right - we NEVER throw deep. We are weak at WR - say what you will.
Romo isn't being given enough time to read deep or drop back, he threw a pick when he forced the issue against the Giants in week two and it sealed the defeat.

The fumble and now the penalty have lit a fire under the Giants.

I'd be shocked if Dallas pulls this one out. The Giants are playing with more passion and now they want the game more than Dallas does.

Stupid penalties, stupid mistakes.

STUPID is the word. Blame the coaches, Romo, whatever other nonsense people can think of, but this team plays STUPID football. Flozell is the king of stupidity. Defense jumping all over theplace. Barber HAS to protect that ball there.
I've never seen a team better at dominating and losing. It started a few years back and it hasn't stopped.

Newman with another quality play in December. This team sickens me.

We are ultimately going to go nowhere with Barber because although he excels in the short yardage game, he is only mediocre in every other aspect and doesn't generate fear in the heart of defenses. He also doesn't punish anyone on the other team anymore. He has also put alot of balls on the ground over the last couple of years.

I believe the future of this team is Felix and Choice at RB with Austin and Ogletree at WR. OT isn't ready to start just yet but needs to be worked in more now so he'll have an idea of what he needs to work on over the offseason.

We really need to work on OL blitz pick up. Romo gets rid of the ball and the backs are doing a decent job of picking up blitzers. Nevertheless, the opposing team routinely manages to send a blitzer who goes unblocked while someone is being double-teamed. I don't know if it is the OL or Houck but this has got to get fixed now if we are going to keep Romo healthy and win games.

On defense, we need another pass rusher to compliment Ware. I think Ware got a little lucky with the 20 sacks last year. I think he is more along the lines of a 10-12 sacks/year player with a solid all-around game. We need someone else to compliment him and I don't think Spencer is that guy.

I think we need another CB. Newman is ageing quickly and I'm not sure if this is just a sophomore slump for Scandrick or something more.

Anyhow, this game is still winnable.

I do think we need to get Barber out of there to give the offense a chance.

Should be an interesting half.

I wouldn't blame nothing on Romo at this point. The Defense is the Culprit and MB3 didnt help out too well.

Agreed....Romo has been playng fine....Barber hasn't done squat with his 2.6 ypc average and a fumble.

Psst, execution is everything, even vanilla schemes prosper with execution.

The 90s Cowboys were predictable, but seldom stopped because the execution was marvelous.

Hell yeah because Jimmy carried a big stick.....Everyone in the world knew Emmitt was getting the ball and they would shove it down your throat......They dared you to stop them and not many could......

This team here doesnt deserve to wear that star on their head....

Wouldn't be surprised if Flo was suspended for that cheap shot. Don't forget after the leg whips/tripping earlier this year the league said they would look at fining him if he continued.

Usually what happens when your team starts the fight.

Yet both benches can clear and it's not off setting?

Romo is going to have to be magic today. I can't see Dallas pulling this off otherwise.

The were simple, not predictable and ran one of the best play-actions ever... Totally different.. If execution was everything, just hand the ball off to Deion Anderson and block...

They also played towards their strengths, and had their OL moving forward, while this OL is predicated on finesses, contrary to their personnel..
or Kevin Faulk or Antwan Smith and Sammy Morris, see execution.

Or better yet Pierre Thomas this year.

How in the world are the Giants even in this?

They had the ball nine minutes!

We continue to let them get to us.

Seems to me that Flo is the only one playing with gusto.
