Cbz40 Game Day Thread | 2nd Half | Dallas Cowboys 24 New York Giants 31 FINAL

Romo is playing as well as we can possibly expect yet the Cowboys still found a way to squander a two score lead in less than two minutes. I wonder if certain posters will ever be capable of admitting -- at least to themselves -- the identity of true culprit behind this team's December swoons and playoff incompetence.

Been here long? Grant them however that this is not an encouraging turn of events.

Like over the last 8 years? That's long enough.

Enough with all of the pre-game talk by our players....they haven't backed up the way they talked prior to the game.

It is halftime and people are conceding the loss. Really? We dominated them in the first half, they got some lucky breaks. Expect Dallas to come out pissed. This isn't the same team as last year. I would like to see a little more Choice in the game. I think that he could have some nice runs against this defense.

Expect Dallas to come kicking off from the 15 yard line. After that all bets are off......

Good for Flo. Tuck and Jacobs have been talking trash all season. About time someone shut those 2 punks up.

Agreed. I hope he just picked both of them up, one in each hand and just bashed them into each other....

What talk?

Someone needs to step up in the locker room this half. Ratliff, Ware, Romo, Witten, Brooking, SOMEBODY. This is our season, our division to lose...

Because I know sure as **** Wade isn't gonna say anything except "ho hum gee golly. c'mon guys, we got this."

The Cowboys talk............seldom back it up.

That's what they do

Yeah we'll probably continue to fail on 3rd downs with our guys at WR, but when NYG have it on a 3rd you better believe Jerry Ric... I mean Steve Smith will convert it for them.

Must be nice to actually convert 3rd downs and have actual drives that don't require big chunk of yardage plays.

I'll also be looking for a football to bounce off someones helmet, off someone elses back and fall into a NYG lap for a pick 6.

Shut them up? He pushed him over and picked up a penalty doing it.

Tuck and Jacobs can talk because their team beats Dallas.

If Dallas would shut them up with a win, nobody would hear from them.

Now they are pissed and will probably thrive off that emotion for the 2nd half.

Folk had hit some from 56 in warmups. He's the FG kicker. Buehler is NOT a FG kicker.

He kicked at USC IIRC why not let him have a crack at it Folk was never going to hit that and with Beulher at least you don't get a returnable ball since he's not gonna miss short

As far as Flo goes... wel at least someone is getting pissed off out there cuz mr staypuff won't, redball is to intellectual to get mad so someone needs to show some fire. Yeah he coulda yelled in the lockerroom but oh well he didn't he went after the object of his anger. a giant didn't matter who just a giant. The rest of this team is happy to get paid each week and apparently he no longer is.

How many times are people gonna blame execution?

And the Giants secondary is impressive to not attack? Oh let me guess, cover-2...
Psst, execution is everything, even vanilla schemes prosper with execution.

The 90s Cowboys were predictable, but seldom stopped because the execution was marvelous.

Jimmy johnson is right - we NEVER throw deep. We are weak at WR - say what you will.

Team appears to be totally falling apart. Looks like we'll be kicking off from our 20 now.

Defense is proving they were vastly overrated. We're getting whipped up front on both sides of the ball. No run blocking, pass protection is mediocre and our pass rush doesn't exist. The tackling was also atrocious those last two drives.

Looks like they learned nothing from the film of the Denver-NYG game.

And the offense isn't.. Last time I checked, seven of our points was caused by Ratliff jarring the ball loose in the red-zone...
