I think one of the reasons they don't do quarterback sneak is because Romo isn't a tall quarterback. If your quarterback is 6'5, you're more likely to try and convert short yardage with quarterback sneaks.

Still, they could have tried something different than a run to Barber. Everyone knows he's slow hitting the hole from deep in the back field.
