Cbz40 Game Day Thread | Dallas Cowboys 17 Washington Commanders 0 FINAL

for a supposed great pass rusher, ware isn't doing much against levi jones most plays.

let butler play.

Looks like the D wants to ensure the shutout. Wish the O would have met the D's intensity tonight, but it just didn't have the look that they were.

ok quick question, if the skins go for a QB in the draft next year and they let jason campbell go, should the cowboys look at campbell as a backup?

Not in the least.

Don't think that that means anything - he's out and obviously hurt

Yeah but usually she reports injuries on the sidelines and Austin is a huge part of our team, she would have said something by now.

I think they are just resting him and getting other guys in the game.. Roy Williams was out too.

No Commanders trolls for a year?

It might happen after the brooms came out.

I like our chances next week against the Eagles. Like I said, payback. It's a *****. About time we paid the Eagles back don't you think? I think it will happen.

True...he keeps putting the wildcat in there and keeps trying to use MBIII as a battering ram when he just isn't.

He's also no Einstein when it comes to his situational play-calling.

What an uninspired game this was. Of course don't forget the Skin's defense is pretty good. Damned good actually.
I actually think the Cowboys played quite inspired today.

They were ready to play and had an extra pop in their step and in their tackles, imo.

Romo played great, defense gets a shutout(hopefully) with the playoffs on the line.

Works for me.

No. I'm not a fan. But that's just me.

395 yards of Offense and it gets us 17 points.

Insert joke here.

Our defense can play with anyone. Our offense continues to amass yards and not points. It will be our undoing if it doesn't stop.

I hate the idea of playing Philly 2 weeks in a row.

I'm extremely happy we won and clinched a playoff spot. However, tonight's game just reinforces my contention that Jason Garrett isn't the answer. The double reverse in the first half was a terrible call when we're up by 14 and have good field position. However, the thing that really pisses me off the the fact that he STILL does not realize Barber is not a short yardage back. Short yardage success requires two things: 1) Movement up front, which I admit we haven't been getting. 2) The back to hit the hole quick. Barber is extremely poor at this. I just don't get how many times Garrett has to fail using Barber in short yardage situations before he sees it's a BAD play call.

I think jason garrett needs someone like dan reeves or an experienced offensive play caller helping him for one more year

:skins:

Come on Wade....adjust to covering the middle of the field....it's sooo wide open.
