Not a Garrett defender, but I don't really see it as the HC job to motivate players. We don't have any idea of the opening script that Garrett prepared in this game because this team came out playing flat once again...

There is really not much difference in this defense and the Wade Phillips defense. Predictable blitzes that never get there plus they're not confusing anyone with their scheme but themselves. I'd rather just go back to Pasqualoni zone and force QBs to throw in tight windows

The Giants look like they're right where they want to be.

Deep pass worked well, Jacobs got a little opening early.

I'd be shocked if both sidelines felt the same regardless of the score.
