Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

This is reality: We've an average team.

We're gonna beat the Bucs-teams out there, we're gonna beat the Panther's teams out there... But really, we're becoming worse and worse as long as Wade's here...

We're certainly worse than last year and we need a miracle to get to Playoffs...

I told you what would happen if we run in to a team that shuts down our run game. 10 points is not going to get us far anyway you cut it. Romo does what he can. The question is this: will it be good enough to take us to the next level.

Like I said, I smell a 9-7 record. This up one week, lose the next week, rollercoaster will cut some body his job this year.
Did they shut down our run game or did we just stop running? Or both?

Romo looks good in blowouts, but anything close he chokes, period.

Hard to argue against....and what's more frustrating is watching young pups like Ryan, Flacco and Sanchez doing so well....so quickly.

You want them to lose so you will be right ...... thats not rooting for them.

I want them ALL to do well .... and I will root for ALL of them.

unlike people like you.

You REALLY are a fool if you think any of us root for the team to lose.

How can you call a guy that had 102 catches in 07 and 104 catches in 08 garbage? Not to mention the game winning leaping grab and jukes out our entire defense in Brandon Marshall!

cutler has bennet, hester and the rest and they still get open. not sure if this is sarcasm or stupidity.

Obviously hurting.

I hope you aren't serious. This team sucks but Roy was not pouting.

When we find out he has broken ribs will you still be whining?

thats what I was wondering.

he did come back in the game and even made a great catch...you could see he was dying right afterward...I'm guessing he's got a pretty significant injury and I bet he misses some time

I'm very disappointed in these guys.

I guess i have to realize once and for all, this group doesn't know how to win.

That's the bottom line.

Blame whoever you want, but it is what it is.

Right now, we're not a playoff calibre team. We're about an 8-8 or 9-7 type team.

Oh well . . . . not much we can do.

cant trust this team, Romo was pathetic today and someone tell me why boy wonder has us throwing 2 slant plays against Champ Bailey (brilliant thought)

and stupid GM

we're handstrapped with Roy Williams as the #1 Wr and Ken Hamlin as the QB of our secondary

thanks GM!!
yup. we will not win another Superbowl as long as Jerry is running this team.

Romo could of thrown it better. He took a huge shot from dj williams though

No see, you cant be negative or realist on this board or your not a fan. It's in the rules!

when your qb is way off, you call some short passes (get choice in space), some screens, some slants, etc...to get him calmed down. you don't continually call 7-step drops, and get your already rattled qb sacked, etc. (you really don't want your receivers served up due to errant passes, either)...

jason garrett is obviously incapable of making these simple adjustments...i waited until this season to pronounce judgment upon him...he's the wrong man for the job (that sounds better than he sucks squeak-holes, eh?).
...feel you on Garrett...but...the Romo we are seeing now may be as good as it gets...he was nowhere today, even when he had time to throw...he is regressing as a quarterback...he nearly got Williams killed...he and the offense personally handed Denver 7 points on a plate then failed to take advantage of the gift after halftime...not all his fault with Austin, as i think they had some miscommunication but if you can't trust a receiver he probably should'nt be playing...the situational thingy with Austin has'nt amounted to a whole lot this year anyway...

...one thing i know for sure is that unless the defense suddenly becomes the best in the league the cowboys won't see the postseason for the second year consecutive...personally i'm beginning not to care one way or the other as i think Phillips tenure in Dallas is on the clock...i'm feeling now the way i felt in 2006 at the end of the Parcells experiment...

...i've seen all i need to see to say without reservation that Dallas won't see a superbowl under Wade Phillips...and Romo has a few things left to learn before he can move this team through the playoffs and beyond...

I don't consider 90% of a game clutch. I consider the end clutch and he actually seemed to pick it up at the very end, but too little too late.

He was bad all game.

He got lucky on that play to Hurd, he was like 2-7 on that final drive....
