Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 10 Denver Broncos 17 FINAL

I am here. I think a lot of the people who are mad are young fans. I used to be the same way. Its just a game. When you get older you have other priorities like a family. Putting kids through college etc. 15 years ago I would have destroyed my TV by throwing a beer mug at it.

Just saw some highlights on NBC and Miles beat his man easily, he was a good step or 2 ahead of his guy. Not sure why Romo was locked onto Hurd both times.

Why would anybody give up after 4 games.

Like I said, only the fans that were part of the "Cowboys are the class of the NFC" Club are the ones that are ready to give up.

Again, we are 2-2 and our only losses have come against teams that haven't lost a game this year and we were in it the entire game.

We are a mediocre ball club but there is still time to right the ship.

The bad news, Wade Phillips is our Head Coach.

I can appreciate the "glass is half full" viewpoint. I really can but, dude, it's obvious to anyone watching that this team is one dimensional against anyone but the worst of the worst.

Take away the run game and put it in Romo's and the pathetic WR corps hands and it's game over.

I will continue my Jerry Jones is the TRUE cancer campaign.

He hires a power house, but washed up coach in Parcells' to make the fans feel good. It doesn't work out, so he basically says to the fans, I ain't hiring someone stronger or more popular than me anymore, we've already done it your way.

So he'd rather have a coach that kisses up to him just because the 1 time he does it, it doesn't work? HOw about do it forever JOnes? Keep hiring the best, not just the guy that makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside.

The campaign should be, remove Jerry and let the son's take over.

He was almost giddy when Parcells left, so he could say "see I tried it your way and it didnt' work so now I'll go back to doing it my way.".

Of course Jerry is such a ******, he fails to note that BP's way took the team from the yearly 5-11 disaster that Jerry created to 3 winning seasons in 4 years.

Now, under "Jerry's way" yet again, this team looks to be headed back to below .500 again.

That fool never learns.

I wholeheartedly agree. Think how we overcame adversity last year losing Romo for 3 games. This staff just hasn't had a chance to hit their stride over the past 3 years. They need time to gel. Our GM is awesome so I am not worried.

:muttley:

Continuity!

Mmm thats not all. Some players (and they are not a few) really, really need to step up and play a lot better...

I'm about ready to jump off his bandwagon. He was rushed all day, but he was WAY OFF even when he did have time.

What it looks like to me, Romo is playing scared. After the horrible Giant game, he's scared to make mistakes and is playing with less confidence.

This is 100% true!!!!!!!! You can't win when you're playing not to lose.

Of course only losing to undefeated teams is okay. Why strive to be 4-0 when 2-2 is just as many wins as loses.

I think your being too hard on the previous post.

I've got a family, saving for my teenage son to goto college and have lots of other RL responsibilities as well. Im 35 and my remote control nearly went through my 55" LED TV.

I have not seen the replay but it would not surprise me. in pressure situations romo tightens up in the pocket and locks onto receivers...romo, this whole team really, is extremely predictable. I predicted most of this stuff after the Tampa win, go back and check.

this was suppos to be a QB friendly offense, remember... yet, Romo is playing his worst ball ever... the passing game is the exact same. I told you this offensive passing game ran on talent alone.. it looks like trash now... Garrett's ineptitude was masked by the talent...

Because Romo doesnt trust Austin to make the tough catch in traffic. Hurd looked like he had Champ, but Champ baited him into it, and broke on the play.
