Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 20 Philadelphia Eagles 16 FINAL

I love Jenkins, he is simply put a very good player, there is no denying it. Scary thing is, he seems to still be getting better. He is certainly our #1 in my eyes.

Side Note: Not going to call anybody out, but do you remember when some posters said "The only reason Jenkins would star is because the coaches were afraid to start the better guy (scandrick) since he wasn't a 1st round pick" and the talk about "The only reason Jenkins and Scandrick are splitting starts is because coaches are afraid of hurting Jenkins feelings"?

The creativity on that first TD drive was awesome to watch.

eating some crow on him

he called a great game

alot of safe plays against an aggressive Eagle's D

This is suprising. Better print this page off.

Well it's a start. We got the win and all but I still question some of the plays he calls.

well I'm not going to prop up Jenkins just to bash Newman, let's just be glad we have 2 STUD corners.

I have to agree with the OP. This kid absolutely deserves more time. Imagine seeing Crayton going from the #2 WR to the #4 in a matter of weeks.

Nothing against crayton, but you can't say Ogletree doesn't deserve some more snaps.
Not this year. Crayton had another big play today!

Gotta give Garrett some love for knowing when and how to get him involved. This team can be very dangerous if Garrett continues to call these types of games.

Yeah, the WR slip screen .... I'm glad Garrett apparently came into the game with one play prepared for Philly's inside blitz (which apparently caught him off guard, even though they run frequently every game for ohh.... the last 10 years or so). Apparently he's completely unaware of pitches, sweeps or screens to the edge ... especially to a certain big play back who he claimed getting the ball to in space was one of his highest priorities coming into the season.

I would like to have had a stronger running game, and I'm not one to complain about Garrett.

But we ran very well when we needed to and thats all that matters.

Me too. But we shoved it down their throat in our 4 min offense. That was a thing of beauty. If we have that mentality running, our running O would be awesome.

Good game by Red.

Great game by the OL. I haven't seen them dominate the end of a game like this since last Nov vs Washington.

Awesome game by them.

hmm...I thought it was a good game by him but still has a few kinks to work out. Good game for everyone.

he was great tonight. i'm so glad he's been getting an opportunity. i would like to pat my back and say i knew he could contribute as i was calling for his activity back when we were 2-2.

same, but he did alot more good than bad

he wasn't trying to force an offense that just doesn't work against the blitz

I'm glad Garrett called a solid game for us.

And I'm even more thrilled the defense didn't ask Romo to come out and score 30 points on the road in a hostile situation in Philly.

The way he called this game was the way JJ (Jimmy Johnson) said this kind of game should be called. Play the hard teams safe, set them up for big plays and teams you know you should beat you can get fancy. Great game to the RHG.

for sure.

We won, I'm happy. I liked his game plan in the 1st half, not so much in the second. And is the draw the only run play he can recall from the 90's???

One thing that I would change would be more screens, though....
