Put on your thinking cap. Of course it's OK--3 runs and maybe 7, or three runs and a FG, and we would have won or tied, instead of losing--get it ?

That is way too simplistic. What I GET, is that you can't assume that's how the game would've ended. What if we don't get 7, or even 3? Even if we do, that doesn't mean everything else would've been the same. We kick off. Maybe they run it back. Maybe our defense relaxes and gives up another quick score. Maybe we do tie, but lose in OT.

Do you?

I mean, really do you?

I saw the same team I watched last year.

Play exceptionally well for a good portion of the game and then just puke the game away.

I do, Sean Lee is a beast. Jenkins played great despite being in and out of the game. Spencer is playing smart and even got a sack. The D played exceptionally well despite injuries depleting the secondary. We had Barry Church playing nickel for god sakes. Witten had another 100 yard game. Dez beasted Revis and Cromartie. Felix is doing execeptionally well at pass protection. John Phillips still contributes at key moments.

There is alot of season left to fix goal line playcalling and the O-line will get better.

This loss was heart-breaking but turnovers, special teams, and 4th quarter scoring did us in. Remember what happened when we lost against the Giants and Romo took the blame for losing the game?

Run the ball at the goal line. Make the Jets prove that they can stop it Throwing away a game that should have been won:mad:
I think Garrett still approaches the game as a QB sometimes.

That pass-run ratio is terrible.

That's because it's completely inaccurate.

Dallas had 66 plays total, not 66 pass plays. It was about a 60-40 pass to run ration.

Tony made some dumb plays but don't let that blind you to the fact that Garrett blew this game. 2nd and goal and 3rd and goal on our TWO YARD LINE and we line up twice in shotgun trying to pass?

You can say if we did this, if we did that, if so and so didn't do this, maybe we would have won, but this is no maybe... this is FACT: If we don't go full ****** at the two-yard line, we win this game. Point blank period.

Poor play calling inside the red zone has been a staple of Garrett's offense.

Yes, the throw to Dez was stupid - but whose idea was it to have Bryant out on the field when he can barely move? That's a coaching decision, not a Romo decision.

Absolutely inexcusable to not come away with points at the goal line. Absolutely inexcusable to let a gimpy Dez Bryant run around doing nothing on the field. Coaching lost this game tonight.
Very good point. The first play from shotgun could have been a pick 6 for Cromartie. I really cannot understand the obsession with shotgun inside the 5 yard line. How many other teams do this? I really wish we would have run it all three times. If you absolutely have to pass, we have the best TE in the game, use the goal line play-action where the TE fakes a block and then runs an out or cross route. Please for the love of all things holy, ditch that goal line shotgun formation.

The play you mention was called and Witten was covered and the pass was thrown incomplete. Also If Miles turns around and sees the ball that is 6. Details fellas, details.

If every WR was open on every play, I'd say most passes would be complete.

Can someone explain why on the Burress TD if Sens intention was to give him help why he was late as hell getting there? I mean what's the point if you're going to make your decisions that late.

Or run out of it once in a while. Sometimes it's easier to run the ball at the goal line by spreading the defense and making them look for the pass than it is to load up and try to pound it in against a defense that's looking for the run.

Wow, when will we stop pissing away games?

This team finds the most unusual ways to lose, its actually comical at this point.
