Cbz40 Post Game Thread | Dallas Cowboys 7 Green Bay Packers 17 FINAL

a few things to take away from this tough loss

1 victory monday is done with
2. this is the type of game that was not a must win ad can now be used to humble this team and look for a strong run come the stretch
3. now RW11 has no room to say anything at all. its real simple you cry about not getting the ball and you get it ad you fumble and drop easy ones
Im sick to my stomach watching this but hope isn't gone and I know the fair weathers are gonna be out in full affect

What about Austin's drop in the 1st that would have been a sure fire TD? He had nothing but green in front of him if he would have jumped a smidge later. I hope the O gets in extra practice this week because the Skins is gonna be another game that we are gonna have to grind out.

And we all know what Roy did tonight...

Let's not forget that GB is playing like it's the final game of their season, if they lose this one they are pretty much out of the playoffs. Dallas on the other hand is still on top of the division by 1 game.

1. Jason Garrett hasn't learned the value of establishing or attempting to run
the ball, even though starting RT Columbo gain with an injury.
2. Roy Williams- has to protect the ball, catch the ball and shut up.
3. Flozell Adams- his time has past he's slowing down.
4. Romo- hard to gage, made bad throws and held onto the ball.
5. Offense has to focus, no urgency.
6. PENALTIES

Just my opinion, the team regressed today

Whatever.

The score is the only alarming thing.

The Cowboys played, perhaps, our worst game.

That was expected. We came off our best win of the year, the Packers were coming off their worst loss of the year. I think we were due a let down.

Games are won and lost every year. I can remember losing to two poor Washington teams in 1995.

Losses happen.

I'll be concerned if we lose another one.

........thanks sharutox, that is some good news on a disastrous day for the cowboys. Just can't understand why they can't put it together, but it isn't gonna happen that's pretty clear. Wouldn't doubt it if we lose to the forskins next week. That's how mentally fragile this offense is. Punch them in the mouth: they crumble. Happens every year like clockwork. Hurts like a kick to my NADS to admit it but it's true....................

Watch out for the penalty....we are coached by the marshmallow man !!!!

I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that Miles is good for 1/2 drops a game

it seems that the ball has to hit him near perfect for him to catch it, a little out of his radius, and he has a hard time with it

Bad throw by Romo.

He was there...for sure...but Romo overthrew him. I don't think there's any way Austin could catch that.

if he used an inch or 2 more of his 40" vert, he could have caught it

a difficult pass, but one a #1 WR should make

BENCH RW: NOW....heat on him this week will be unreal. A critical, drive killing fumble deep in the GB territory and a brutal drop on the sidelines: he's OFFICIALLY a bust.

I don't know, I kind of thought his first drop was more on Romo. That grazed the very tips of his fingertips, kind of hard to catch that one.

We've got to find a way to get our running game going again. We can't continue to go on the road against solid defenses and expect to sling it around for 4 quarters. Our supposed strength is the big O-Line and good RBs. We've got to find a way to become more balanced as we were at the beginning of the season.

"Why don't we just run it on first and goal?"

*Romo gets picked*

I was hoping Dallas would run on the 1st and Goal. Even the wildcat would have been a better option... The way GB was pressuring Romo, I thought a run was the way to go...

Very true, which is why I'm not frustrated.

I've grown accustomed to performances like this from our team.

It's not the end of the world though, we're 6-3, and are still first in the division (I think)

That being said, I dont think this is a championship level team. I dont know if it will get that way next year either.

What I do know, is that we keep thinking this team is going to have some revelation and become a perfect team.

They're not. They're going to keep making mistakes and beating themselves quite often, and the question is will it happen on a day where the opposing team takes advantage of it.

In 4 of our 9 games, we've looked like the Dallas team that all the haters want to see. In the other 5 we've looked like the team we all think we can be.

Today we played terrible again and GB took advantage of it.

Jason Garrett has no idea what to do when teams double our #1 wr. chump.

Same old same old is right

same excrement, different year and opponent. Red: the OC that just doesn't get it DESPITE the princeton education.

We were out played and out coached. Unreal. I can't believe how bad this team played I am in shock. We got no turnovers we couldn't stop them on 3rd and long. Man what's with nick folk? Dude forgot how to kick now? Our return game is weak. I am so frustrated at the preperation for this game.
