Cbz40 Post Super Bowl Thread | New Orleans Saints -- Indianapolis Colts -- FINAL

I don't think the Saints, or anyone else for that matter, would be prepared for the HUGE target that the "America's Team" motto puts on a team's back.

If they borrowed it -- even for one day -- they should take the damn target that goes with it.

Nah....they're not worthy.

Yep, this is what I'm going to have to live with for the next year. :banghead:

They won the ultimate prize... but they couldn't beat us at home to preserve their undefeated record... so you have that...

I have been in NO more than most people I know... and there is a HUGE Cowboy contingent down there... so keep the faith...

Right now... It's a huge excuse to drink more... ;)

I spent the second half of the game getting more and more ticked off, as it became apparent NO wanted this game more than Indy. It took till 3 in the AM before I realized that I wanted Indy to win, because we were better than NO. We beat them, in their house, with history on the line for them.

I'm mad, and have nothing more than college workouts to look forward to.

Oh, and the Commish wants to turn the NFL into a powder puff league.

Think I'll go watch the NHL. They still hit each other.

Ugh if we had Payton instead of Wade/Garrett

Yeah, Payton won a championship in his 4th year as HC there. He'd have never got that far here, because people wouldnt let the two non playoff seasons in a row go by, not to mention the pass happy offense and "curious" playcalls from time to time over that 4 yr period.

The Aints (can't even call them that anymore) winning the SB is proof that there is no god

Having to listen to my cousin who started the season as a Vikings fan celebrating "her Saints" winning the SB is the ultimate form of torture

The self proclaimed best fans in sports is nothing but a bunch of bandwagon jumpers, not a single fiber of my being can muster up any kind of happiness or their behalf

BTW, I'm hearing news reports that this was the most-watched Super Bowl ever.

so much for Peyton being the best QB of all time. Romo plays better than that week after week as I said, I would take Romo over Peyton Manning.

Here comes the onslaught of "YOU KNOW NOTHING, PEYTON IS A GOD"
