However, at some point, you have to demonstrate some capability of playing at a high level. They didn't last preseasonm and it carried over into the regular season.

Just a dumb read by Ball. You can't use the "I don't know the scheme" excuse. That's just basic football IQ. You got the safety inside, of course he's gonna cover the inside WR, leaving YOU to cover the outside guy.

This is the same defense as last season. I dont care who is the coordinator if you cant cover WRs or backs in the flat and if your blitzers constantly get stoned at the LOS you are going to give up a lot of points.

Ball confused as usual doesnt help either. Looked like every one was playing zone but him.

Depends on the coverage if it was man to man then Spencer blew that one. I've never seen a zone where the CB plays inside of the safety so it's either Spencer or Ball that blew that one

Phillips was under heat if Ball breaks outside like he was suppose to on the pass off that is a throw away
