Voting for Romo is fine (I just did it myself), but
Who would really want Garcia as a starter?
He was a backup for a reason. He's just doing well in that system.
Let's not totally underestimate Garcia.
He led the Calgary Stampeders to a Grey Cup victory over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in November 1998, and was named Grey Cup MVP after leading the Stampeders 80 yards on the last drive to set up a game winning field goal on the last play of the game [3]. Garcia was also named as the 1998 CFL All-Canadian at quarterback.Following the Grey Cup victory, Garcia signed with the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He set a new 49ers' team record with 4,278 passing yards in the 2000 season, although the team finished with a 6-10 record. Garcia then led the 49ers to the playoffs in both the 2001 and 2002 seasons. He was named to the Pro Bowl three consecutive seasons. During the 2002 playoffs, he was a large reason why the 49ers defeated the New York Giants in the second largest comeback victory in NFL playoff history.Following the 2003 season, Garcia was released by the 49ers due to salary cap issues.
He's fallen on some hard times, and I'll take Romo over him, but he's no chump.
