I know a lot of people here like him. Being from Mount Union he is from my back yard plus I spend a lot of time on the East Coast. I just never really saw what I wanted to see. He is a very sloppy route runner and has poor foot placement. Now that can all be coached up at the next level but these drops at the East/West do not surprise me. He often showed lack of focus and concentration and would vanish for several series at a time. You would watch one game and he would look like a man among boys and then watch another and think your getting the same thing only to not see hm again for a quarter or more. At that level of competition you need to dominate every play.

I was also at Mount Union when Pierre Garcon was there and they are two totally different players. Pierre always played up to and above his competition. You could tell he had that something different that makes you think a small school player has a chance.

I just never got that feeling with Shorts.

I think he is a bit more of a project then most anticipate. He has a high ceiling but I dont think your going to realize his potential until 2 maybe 3 years down the road.

Oh, nah, I was sincerely wondering if you were watching the practices on TV because I wanted to watch it too. I couldn't find anything on NFLN.
