What I’m telling you is that there are medical professionals evaluating his injury daily, and if they thought playing out him at serious risk, he simply would not be playing.

He is way to valuable to put out there if there was significant risk of sustaining a much worse injury.

Yeah, freak accidents happen, but they’ve clearly assessed this injury as one that can be safely played through if Ceedee can handle the pain.
I'm not talking about just the current shoulder injury. That's what you're missing. I'm simply talking about shutting him down, due to current injury and the risk of something worse. Not wishing that, just wondering why there wouldn't concern on investment and the fact the "Boys are eliminated and letting others prove their worth.

Oh yeah, I mean, that might be the smart thing to do but Jerry does seem pretty hell bent on ending this season on a strong note with a few more wins.

Is it probably the wisest thing to do with your injured All-Pro receiver? No, probably not, but wisdom is not this organization's strong suit.

Guy has become the clear on field leader of this team.

Clearly in pain, team is eliminated, and he already got paid. And he's out there gutting it out and making plays as if it was the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.

I liked a lot about what I saw out of our team last night but Lamb impressed me more than anyone.

Great player, heart of a warrior. True leadership. That's a guy who deserves to wear #88.

Well done Cee Dee.

Now you got my point. Wisdom with this organization would be to tell Cee Dee......"you're inactive. Let's start your shoulder rehab now."

Wasn't initially sold on the guy. I thought he was really good, not great. The way he has performed AFTER receiving a mega contract is a great example for how it should be done.

Cee Dee has impressed me of late. With that said, I hope he sits for the rest of the year and starts healing up for next season.

That man is a BEAST

Anyone saying anything different is just being a hater

He’s playing with 1 shoulder and has over 100 catches AGAIN! And he’s reliable…

He’s taken BIG hits over the middle all career and popped back up like nothing

A worthy 88 indeed

On his show, Pat McAfee talked about going to Colts training camp as a rookie. He saw Reggie Wayne going full speed in drills, and realized that if an 8 year vet, future Hall of Famer wasn't taking any reps off, he wasn't going to get to take any reps off. That standard was set.

If CeeDee is going out there on a busted shoulder, with a backup QB, and absolutely nothing to play for, and he's still balling out, that sets the standard for the rest of the offense. You're playing hard no matter what.

So many were pissed about his mega contract, to the point where they were demeaning him like they do some other players. At least that group seems to have stopped that silliness for now.

We still have to live with the Parsons detractors, who will get even louder when he gets his big deal next year. I mean, I've even been debating fans who are bad-mouthing future Hall of Famer Zack Martin simply because he wanted more money last year and tried to keep going when his body wouldn't let him.

Some of that stuff makes me want to just leave. I can understand justified criticism, but too many seem to get butt-hurt over what a player makes. I mean, when Aubrey becomes the highest-paid kicker, they'll be talking about how you can't pay a kicker that kind of money, just go get another one!

Good receiving class. Glad we decided to draft one from that strong first-round group to pair with Lamb this year. Oh wait, we couldn't because we let our left tackle go in free agency and did nothing in FA to replace him.

Yep. He's out there gutting it out and playing. Not quitting and getting surgery.
I'll agree with most criticisms of Dak pretty much anytime.

But honestly I hope this thread doesn't get derailed into a discussion about #4 or any other player for that matter

I honestly wanted this to be an appropriate appreciation for Lamb who is displaying the heart of a champion as this lost season winds down.

He deserves a lot of praise and appreciation for the way he is closing out. Legit animal out there
