Cee Dee is clearly firing pistols with that gesture, a violation of the NFL players are role models stipulation.

Not mad at 20 something millionaires living their lives.

More upset that Jerry and Stephen Jones didn't take the 2024 offseason seriously enough to field a team better than the very good ones that fell short in '21, '22, and '23. At least if they did this would be them out after another home win against a good Texans team.

I dunno I guess it is just me and I am old and out of touch. When I used to see stuff like this about Irvin I loved it. The guy was a winner. A complete stud on and off the field. When I see stuff like these about these guys it is just annoying. When you are a loser I just don't want to hear about it. I barely even care about what these guys do on game day anymore let alone after hours.

It seems like people love this stuff though nowadays. Winning doesn't really matter as much. Compile stats. Build your brand. That is what people respect. FWIW that is probably a much better attitude and outlook than my own. Winning shouldn't have to be everything. Being a "star" player in the NFL really should be enough. It is an amazing accomplishment and they should be proud.

Alas for me getting dog walked every week ruins everything.

How many of us have had a bad day at work and went out to blow off some steam?

And 9/10, they were probably paid for their appearance.
You always have an excuse for players not committed to winning championships.

just out of curiosity, what do you do when you're not at work?
Just out of curiosity, do you have a job that pays you millions, makes you famous, and has a world title that is the entire goal of the endeavor?

How many fans do you have showing up to your work expecting big things from you?

I don't have an excuse for anything.

I just live in the real world. For these guys, this is their job. This doesn't define them as individuals.

But because you addressed me directly, I'll tell you.

Athletes do not work out 24/7 365 a year.

If these guys were out there doing true knucklehead, criminal non-productive societal behavior. Basically just doing dumb ish, then I'm all in on calling those guys out.

Stuff like going to a club does not bother me. Spending non-Cowboys time on personal matters does not bother me.

Who cares, I’d be too. This whole season on Jerry and Stephen not doing anything in FA for years and expecting them to go to sb. They’ve put this team in a hole that it’s gonna be in for a long time.

I’d be more pissed if it was Jerry and Stephen in the club

Did you hit up the bar after work?

That’s where you’re wrong. The entire goal of the endeavor is revenue and profits. The players are part of the COGS, a direct cost. The Cowboys have made more money and gone up in value since their last championship in 94, despite their futility in the playoffs.

On top of that, the NFL stands for not for long and teams are not loyal. Some of you were calling for the team not to sign either of these players. Even Demarcus Ware had to finish his career elsewhere. This means that they have to build their brands and their networks for their long term outlook. Do you think when Zach Martin is done after this season he should go off himself for having a failed career? No! He had one of the best guard careers ever and is a sure fire hall of famer who has set his family up for life. Regardless of what our playoff record was.

ummm... none of that really takes away from my question. there's not an athlete alive that doesn't do anything in their downtime.

also being a famous millionaire tends to lead to you doing things like this more often lol. y'all are strange.

If you were going through what they are going through, you’d be trying to unwind as well.

Jimmy after he denied the team a meal after they lost to Washington: "I just wanted them to hate losing as much as I did...".

Those days...are gone...'round these parts...
