CeeDee appears to be on board with Deion as HC

Prime would be a great leader of men in the NFL.

He would absolutely need the right OC and DC and the right situation overall. Dallas, right now, is NOT it and I hope for his sake he stays away.

I don’t want to see him fail here and he would. Anyone would.
I'm not a big Sanders fan, but if he can influence Jerry to start acquiring players through trade or FA, that would be a big positive. If not, it's pointless.

After much reflection today, I realized the team is not going anywhere the next three years. May as well embrace the circus.

Deion will be bold but a circus. That aint happening anyway. We will get Ron Rivera and love it.

He has a shot to draft his kid if he went to the Raiders. I don't see him coming here. Specially since Jerry doesn't like to pay coaches. Very odd for a GM who "really wants to win".

The plus side of Deion is I don't see a team with him at coach sitting on their hands through free agency. And he definitely won't be a puppet here. He brings a pedigree and an attitude.

I’m not so sure convincing them to change is what’s necessary to fix this, although it would better than status quo.

If they dove into free agency they’d probably screw it up badly. They need to hit bottom, call in someone else to run the whole thing, then just maybe there’s hope thereafter.

You might as well ask for world peace. Or a worldwide end to animal cruelty, bad drivers, and foul mouth fans. Chances are similar. I'm trying to start slow.

Ha, yes….but I’m looking years down the line. Another couple of 7 win seasons and Jerry will be out of excuses.

The arrow isn’t pointed upward here by any means.

You’re right, I wouldn’t call it likely, but that’s what my hope has been reduced to.

And the players will respect and play for him.

Forget what's reported in the media, most of us know that if JJ presents the right deal, Deion is coming to Dallas.

And if Deion arrives, then we KNOW his sons have a good chance of winding up here in Dallas after they're drafted....through a trade or free agency.

And JJ could hardly resist all the forever media hype that will come with having Deion here...and Deion could lure some free agents here.

As long as Deion ain't calling plays and has the right support staff to help him manage the games and the clock, I'm all in. Get Deion here.

And lord knows if it doesn't work, it's going to be ugly and bad...and that would ALSO be what this organization needs: utter complete failure.

:flagwave:

Who cares if it’s a circus. We’ve had bland head coach after bland head coach since bill parcells.. all Jerry jones yes men. It would be the same with hiring a guy like Kellen Moore.

Deion at very least won’t be that. And that’s good enough for me.

It’s either gonna work out extremely well.. or crash and burn. Either way though at least we won’t be mediocre. That’s where we have been the past 20 years… mediocre
