But it would be a good circuis. Better than the bad washed up circus we have nowThe circus would be 24/7 with Sanders as HC.

When you put it that way...ugh...We have the 12th pick and a qb making 240 mil. It's not happening.
I'm not sure Shedeur is ready to be a head coach.CeeDee wants Shedeur.
Well, their problem when they did use free agency was not using it right. They used it to fill holes in the roster, but it didn't matter which holes they had or the quality of the player available to fill those holes. For instance, last year was the perfect time to have a hole at RB because players like Henry and Barkley became available. Jerry would sign someone like Brandon Carr to the biggest deal in free agency because he had a hole at cornerback even if Carr was just the best CB available in that FA class and not worth that kind of contract.I’m not so sure convincing them to change is what’s necessary to fix this, although it would better than status quo.
If they dove into free agency they’d probably screw it up badly. They need to hit bottom, call in someone else to run the whole thing, then just maybe there’s hope thereafter.
I agree.. word is they already have an extension on the table. Deion probably sees this as an opportunity to even get more money, Colorado must be making serious dough off of himAnybody believe any of this Deion to Dallas is the biggest suckers going. Deion is just trying to force Colorado to add more money and power to his pot. Jerry is just "once again" trying to keep himself in the news. Wake up.....
Basically impossible as the Cowboys can’t get to 1 or 2 (or 3 for that matter). The top 3 teams on the board need a QB so there is no way to get up there to get one.CeeDee wants Shedeur.
Hell noSo what happens if we take him then trade this year and next year 1st round to move up to get Shedeur? Fans gonna be happy with that?
The Ringmaster has never changed for the Cowboys since 1989...Well, if it happens, at least this Circus gets a truly flamboyant Ringmaster to run it.
The "culture" set forth by the RingmasterWhy do Cowboys players think they have any say in the matter?
That's what it would take. But Jerry keeps getting lucky and the team remains respectable. Three straight 12-5 seasons gives Jerry the impression he knows what he's doing. Even though those teams were no different than the paper tigers some of these Vikings teams were.Ha, yes….but I’m looking years down the line. Another couple of 7 win seasons and Jerry will be out of excuses.
The arrow isn’t pointed upward here by any means.
You’re right, I wouldn’t call it likely, but that’s what my hope has been reduced to.
That already is in stadium on site...and without a strengthening with the knowledge of Sanders pushing staff. He needs a strong Defensive Coordinator and strong positional coaches. I would bring in a top edge Offensive Coordinator. The strength of current concepts and a Hall of Famer with Lombardis would elevate the team as well as demands this group of Cowboys would bring now to the carpet. The circus would be 24/7 with Sanders as HC.
Difference is that he earns that.As opposed to....?
Difference is, Deion loves the spotlight.
I get your point, but I see it more as Jerry owning the circus while the coach (whoever it may be) is the Ringmaster. The owner manages the business, while the Ringmaster presents the show. Of course, in this Circus called Dallas, the owner desperately wants to be, and quite often is both. The Ringmaster has never changed for the Cowboys since 1989...
Fully agree, but it’s also way over. That's what it would take. But Jerry keeps getting lucky and the team remains respectable.
