I saw a short on this last night. The narrator presented it as Lamb was doing this to replicate having the sun in his eyes and was sending a message to Jerry.

He also included a still shot of Witten doing the same thing years ago.

That's because we have hindsight. If we win a game where he drops one, its forgotten. It only becomes a crucial catch after the fact and in context of a game after the fact. Every WR has an occasional drop, so I disagree with the spotlight that been put on it.

Some drops are bigger than others.

Lamb's drops in Week 1 pretty much cost us the game at Philly.

He's one of our best players - he can't be the reason we lose games moving forward.

Kudos to him for the unorthodox approach to trying to get better, even though he probably knew it would get attention and likely go viral.

Given the volume of targets he gets the drop issues are probably overblown. Not saying they aren't there, just saying it's not as huge an issue as some make it out to be.

That site has him at 8 drops. That seems generous.

Inthink it was how it came. He had like 4 drops week 1? Makes it seem worse than what it was. The Philly game was incredible they were dominating that group and just dropped.
