No I want him to do what he does best and what he's built for that's running pass patterns and catching the ball.so why give Lamb the ball at all? You want to put flags on him?
The same injury can happen after catching a pass….No I want him to do what he does best and what he's built for that's running pass patterns and catching the ball.
He's not emmitt Smith or Zeke Elliott just like they aren't built to run long pass patterns against elite cornerbacks.
Exactly. You put the ball in your best players hands.I have no problem with putting your star WR at RB for a snap. Andy Reid does stuff like that. Belichick did stuff like that.
Lamb could have gotten his ankle twisted on any tackle.
My guess is Jerry was pushing it.Who's brilliant idea was it to put our 37 million wide receiver in at running back when we drafted a running back that were not even using.
For that matter Williams was running very hard and very well.
To compound matters who was responsible for putting him back in after his ankle was twisted into a pretzel to possibly suffer more injury
This team is just stupid
Can't believe Jerry sits in that box and tolerates this type of stupidity and embarrassment it doesn't matter how much money you're worth being embarrassed on national television like this is ridiculous
You put the ball in your best player's hands but you don't play him out of position and put him at unnecessary risk. Especially when you have guys that are doing the job well and you've drafted guys and aren't even playing them because you're coaching staff is too inept to get them up to speedExactly. You put the ball in your best players hands.
It's not that at all. Schottenheimer refuses to be proven wrong that going with the veteran RBs is the better move. How is that pairing working out?Just dumb. Apparently our 5th round pick from the coddled UT program can’t learn the game………
So what happens when he plays at receiver? He can’t get hurt there? You put the ball in your best player's hands but you don't play him out of position and put him at unnecessary risk. Especially when you have guys that are doing the job well and you've drafted guys and aren't even playing them because you're coaching staff is too inept to get them up to speed
Worse yet after he has an ankle sprain you don't put him back in the game and risk hurting it worse and compound your mistake this coaching staff is just stupid.
I love angry AC when he breaks through rambo and rocky's cloud of rainbows and sunshine. It's not that at all. Schottenheimer refuses to be proven wrong that going with the veteran RBs is the better move. How is that pairing working out?
Just plain stupid coaching all around.
Nothing against any of you my brothers and sisters. We all have opinions. It's just obvious by now what is/are the problem(s).I love angry AC when he breaks through rambo and rocky's cloud of rainbows and sunshine.
This front office deserves us to be angry instead of defending and supporting them.
And that's not a bad idea for Jonathan Mingo who is the same height but 25 lb heavier than CD lamb not our number one receiver and not getting paid $37 million. My guess is Jerry was pushing it.
This is the role he had in mind for Mingo.
He’s been infatuated in having a dual WR/RB since that stomping Deebo did on them in the playoff game!
I’m going to also guess he’s seen all he wants of CD in the role!
Couldn't agree with you more. You knew what it was going to be, and obviously the Bears did too, before the damn snap. I couldn't believe you would risk Lamb getting hurt on that.Who's brilliant idea was it to put our 37 million wide receiver in at running back when we drafted a running back that were not even using.
For that matter Williams was running very hard and very well.
To compound matters who was responsible for putting him back in after his ankle was twisted into a pretzel to possibly suffer more injury

Bingo! And that's not a bad idea for Jonathan Mingo who is the same height but 25 lb heavier than CD lamb not our number one receiver and not getting paid $37 million.
Guys like deebo Samuel Jonathan Mingo and anquan bolden are 220 lb guys that are built a little more to take the pounding of the running back position.
CD lamb is more in the mold of Randy Moss in my opinion and a valuable commodity on our team that I think would be better served at playing wide receiver .
Let Mingo run the ball if we absolutely have to have a wide receiver run the ball
Play should not be anywhere in the pay book.it was a kill kill kill play , I think Dak called it to that.
For sure and I guess what really pushed me over the edge was after his ankle is sprained our idiot coaching staff isn't satisfied they have to try and put him back in and see if he can get it injured worse and maybe be out for the season.A bewildering play indeed. Perhaps what precipitated the loss. A detrimental factor for sure.
It was incredibly stupid coaching for sure. Really left me scratching my head. For sure and I guess what really pushed me over the edge was after his ankle is sprained our idiot coaching staff isn't satisfied they have to try and put him back in and see if he can get it injured worse and maybe be out for the season.
Just tired of watching the galactically stupid run our team
