As someone with a previous AC joint disorder, I sympathize with our star receiver's pain and discomfort.

#88 has a partial tear of the ligaments connecting the end of the clavicle (collarbone) with the acromion bone. Playing football and getting knocked to the ground can cause a full separation. I hope our playmaker gets the best medical care.

I do not understand his wearing minimal shoulder pads. For an "AC joint sprain," he needs special shoulder pads. Very few orthopedic docs truly know shoulders well. Most are experts on knees.

A long time ago, I sent All-Pro WR Mark Clayton of the Dolphins to a shoulder expert, an outside medical expert who saved his season after the Fins' doc said he was out for the year with an AC joint injury. This other private doc, a disciple of the legendary doc Frank Jobe, MD, properly diagnosed the injury, treated it properly, reducing the severe inflammation and provided Clayton with special shoulder pads the Fins' doc knew nothing about. As a result, Clayton returned to the team and played well the rest of the year.

I pray for Cee Dee getting the best medical care this nations' shoulder specialists can provide.

I refer you all to a video which illustrates the AC joint injuries:

LOL...............always has issues with DROPS.......is NOT a 30 million $ WR (Only in Dallas) and his only excuse which is major is his jockey suxs........Another day in the Dallas Cowboy Homer world.....

We're the only fanbase that feeds into questioning our player's injuries. Justin Herbert last year and Trevor Lawrence this year......paid and not a peep on their injuries or their will, or their pain tolerance.
Now Cee Dee?......after Dak.

Can anybody provide the intel on Diggs' injury?
.
Herbert played with a broken rib and multiple games in a cast on his left hand.. he was recently just playing with a really bad ankle. His OL is actually straight garbage and he had no legit number 1 WR. Trevor Lawrence got benched for sucking, unlike Dak and he has a horrible roster,

You have no idea what you are talking about and your agenda is obvious…. Too bad it’s wrong…. But cry some more about with thus Dak is a poor victim agenda of alters motive. Nobody around these here parts in the country would be crying if we had Mahomes on this team, even if we had to deal with his family.. yee haw

Really khiladi.......you a doctor now? You in the operating room or you just privilege to anybody's HIPPA rights like James Jones? Are you reading your own posts?. khiladi.....we KNOW your agenda. Nobody questioned Herbert or Trevor Lawrence injuries nor doubt the injuries (and shouldn't have) and I think had Dak been victim of the recent LB's hit on Trevor, you'd applaud the Houston LB for it. You have the agenda. Quit denying.

1. The hit was clean.

2. Cry some more.. your agenda is obvious.. the difference Mr. “are you a doctor” is Herbert was playing while injured. Trevor Lawrence once again was benched.

BTW, Dak’s father didn’t do his job, ran away, but his mother did. Does that spell agenda for you? Why don’t you cry about that? You think you are slick with it, but you aren’t.

Now you got to deal with a 4th string Ginger winning…. And I’m pretty sure none of us would be complaining if we had Mahomes as opposed to Dak..

My simple response......you on the deep in and all over the place. Why the Larry Bird clip, one of the greatest NBA players?
Exhibit 1: The hit on Trevor Lawrence was clean.....Lord have mercy.
Exhibit 2: Dak's father?......you been in on too many stereotypical conversations......need to meet people, see the world, get out of momma's basement, and listen more.

Advice: Any man is liable to err, only a fool persists in error.

As for Mahomes.....I think we'd all like that until Jerry messed it up.

1. The Larry Bitd clip was intentional buddy.. you know exactly why…

2. Yes, the hit was clean as PER THE RULES, Trevor Lawrence giving himself up on a slide when he knows he’s about to get hit, makes it CLEAN. That is the clear NFL rule. Just because it looked bad and ended up bad doesn’t make it against the rules. But sorry that doesn’t fit your agenda.

3. I’m not the only playing the race card regarding the perception around Dak. Your latest diatribe is bringing up blond hair blue eye Wags that’s didn’t even meet your criteria about “playing with injury”, because one of them was benched and the other has been paying injured throughout his career and your only retort is that there was some alleged doctors consiprscy for doctor’s to fake their injury. Who. is all over the place? Surely not me..

4. The Mahoney analogy proves exactly the point and you know it. If Dak was Mahoney, nobody would care. He’s not though which is why we care.

khiladi.....I'll abide by forum rules without a problem. You, on the other hand......slinging innuendos says all that's needed. And if you're ok with playing a card about Dak, not sure why you still on the board.

The injuries about Herbert or Lawrence had no reference to race.....simply was about their injuries not being questioned, respected, and believed......without some BS diagnosis, quit, or doubt hovering at them like Dak's hamstring. You on the race and it's telling.

So, I will not sling mess behind the "keyboard".....I'll just say hope you ok and a great day is coming. You're funny......really funny.

For you to sit and type this diatribe that you, among others, haven’t played the race card in regards to “disdain” for Dak so smacking of disingenuous, it’s just comical bro. We all know it…

C'mon khiladi......Dak's father reference?

Since we're not getting anywhere with that.....

How about.....outside of the QB, and just removing him for this question.....what would you recommend for this team to be better, going forward?

I broke my shoulder socket in August in a mountain biking accident and dented the ball and slightly tore the labrum.
I have no idea how he’s able to take that pain and land on it. I’m just now able to raise my hand over my head.
I didn’t have surgery either because I’ve had a previous surgery.
To watch him flinch and get thrown on the ground and take on that shoulder you have no idea unless you have hurt your shoulder before it is everything to your upper body.

khiladi......what conspiracy theory are you conjuring up, now?
yeah. I'm sure you've never posted on this forum regarding "disdaiN' for Dak, while doing things like generating lists of QBs that happen to be only one particular race as a selection. As well as trying to run psychoanalysis on why Dakis somehow a victim of criticism that only belongs to "his kind".

Where you going now khiladi?......stop and read your post. How is race a question, I thought we had rules to stay away from specific & various tones or to be a bit civilized......different or indifferent. Irony is you're making claim on me for exactly what you seem to be doing. You are completely on the deep end, and yet we're in several games to analyze Cooper's play and Cowboy play. I root for Cooper too, only because he is the QB, just like I've done with Dak and before him.....Tony Romo. Nothing else. Nor pay, because I don't just dismiss failures/mistakes all over the place, to simply apply to just one player. You can.....I don't. Maybe your Fantasy Football numbers got jacked up, maybe that's it.

As for the QB list.....of draft prospects.....that ain't mine, it's Mel Kiper and the likes. And we already know Sanders & Cam Ward are going early. As for past QB backups.....that ain't mine, it's Jerry's selection of past backups. Now what? Group therapy? Let it go khiladi......it's consuming you about everything that in front of your eyes........we have a team in need of work & better for next season. Anyway....I'm here for you.

Did you realize sports teams have some of the best doctors in the world that's what the billion dollar leagues and ownership get you they make sure these guys are taken care of best you can get no doubt 'cause if they don't like what they're hearing they go to specialists they get referrals they will end up with some of the best care and rehab afterwards then it's offered anywhere in the world

RESPONSE FROM FLORIDA COWBOY: I believe players are pressured to having surgery which can quick fix an injury, but the long term affects are not good. I believe many of the team docs are overly aggressive in recommending surgery, thinking about the team first and not taking the player's long term interests as a human into consideration. Jones had a lingering hip problem form late 2018 to early 2019, and underwent a brutal operation which allowed him to play in 2019 and gave him a huge free agent signing with the Dolphins. $82 million. Byron has been largely silent since his failed recovery in early 2022 from lower left leg surgery, ankle and achilles tendon, didn’t progress to ever allow him to play in the 2022 season.

“It was an honor and privilege to play in the NFL but it came at a regrettable cost I did not foresee,” Jones tweeted. “In my opinion, no amount of professional success or financial gain is worth avoidable chronic pain and disabilities."
Was byron jones oblivious to the hundreds, maybe thousands, of ex NFL players that can barely walk now? How did he not foresee that as a potential outcome for his career?
