I am encouraging all board members to participate if they want. The guidelines can be read in the OP.

Thx

riiiiiight. It is likely Hayek and Bellucci will not be in the next challenge. We cannot get you involved in this one, which includes them. We'll see.I’ll wait for the next bracket challenge

EDIT: I take that back. The final ballot results are not in yet. Who knows? Both may not finish in the Top 32. Crazy.
"Shame"
I don’t want to suffer the shame of having my name associated with any bracket challenge that has Rebecca Lobo in it unless it is for “Least likely to win a beauty contest” or “female athletes that look most like a former Denver Broncos QB”
So Rose Cin, Felicia Tang, Toni Leigh, and Mia Guzman are mentioned more on posts they get more points?"Shame"
There are always possibilities but the odds are heavily stacked against Lobo. She was nominated as an alternate, which is anyone not named in the top 32 suggestions in a member's ranked list. Alternates receive 1 point automatically.
It would take another member submitting their list and ranking Lobo at number 10 or above on their list for her to move up into the Top 32. Currently, there is a three-way tie for number 31 for a bracket that will only field 32 (yeah I know/I must figure out a tiebreaker of some kind soon if a deadlock remains).
Lobo would receive 23 points if she were nominated as a #10 ranking. Her current 1 point, plus the 23 points, would leap her over ten zillion other alternates (thanks @timb2 ) into the bottom of the bracket.
So things do not look good for Lobo (sorry @BigStar ). I might be the last member who will post their Top 32 rankings before balloting ends. She will not be on my list unless something wildly unusual happens between now and then.
Rude......but I like it.anything this monstrosity “breaks” would be due to her inhuman ‘Bigfoot-esque’ strength
So Rose Cin, Felicia Tang, Toni Leigh, and Mia Guzman are mentioned more on posts they get more points?
Candidates do not receive more points simply due to being mentioned in posts. This is how it works. How about Arielle Lee, Vanessa Valdez, and Cj Miles?
Rude......but I like it.
You should mention that, when you say "names", you mean when a member nominates her either to his list or as an addition after his list has been submitted....Just saying her name in a post doesn't count. lolCandidates do not receive more points simply due to being mentioned in posts. This is how it works.
If a member lists a candidate in their Top 32 list, that candidate receives points according to the rank given to them by the member. Here is the breakdown:
Rank 01 - 32 points
Rank 02 - 31 points
Rank 03 - 30 points
Rank 04 - 29 points
Rank 05 - 28 points
Rank 06 - 27 points
Rank 07 - 26 points
Rank 08 - 25 points
Rank 09 - 24 points
Rank 10 - 23 points
Rank 11 - 22 points
Rank 12 - 21 points
Rank 13 - 20 points
Rank 14 - 19 points
Rank 15 - 18 points
Rank 16 - 17 points
Rank 17 - 16 points
Rank 18 - 15 points
Rank 19 - 14 points
Rank 20 - 13 points
Rank 21 - 12 points
Rank 22 - 11 points
Rank 23 - 10 points
Rank 24 - 09 points
Rank 25 - 08 points
Rank 26 - 07 points
Rank 27 - 06 points
Rank 28 - 05 points
Rank 29 - 04 points
Rank 30 - 03 points
Rank 31 - 02 points
Rank 32 - 01 point
All point values, shown above, are for one time only.
Any additional candidates named by the member after posting their Top 32 will be assigned 1 point as an alternate for one time only.
Every member can re-post a candidate as often as they want but each candidates point value never changes as shown above.
Here are scenarios where a candidate's point value will increase, using Rose Cin as an example:
Scenario #1
Member A ranks Rose Cin as number 17 on his/her list. Cin receives 16 points.
Member B ranks Rose Cin as number 25 on his/her list. Cin receives 8 points.
Total points awarded to Cin is 24 points (16+8-24).
Scenario #2
Member A ranks Rose Cin as number 1 on his/her list. Cin receives 32 points.
Member B nominates Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Total points awarded to Cin is 33 points (32+1=33)
Scenario #3
Member A nominates Rose Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her on his/her list. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Member B nominates Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Member C nominates Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Member D nominates Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Member E nominates Cin after ranking 32 other candidates before her. Cin receives 1 point as an alternate.
Total points awarded to Cin is 5 points (1+1+1+1+1=5)
In summary, a candidate receives a one-time point value after being nominated by a member. It does not matter how often a member re-posts the candidate's name afterwards. A candidate can receive more points if two or more members nominates the same candidate at least once. It does not matter how often two or more members re-posts the candidate's name afterwards.
I thought it was pretty clear. That was a question I should have answered in its entirety when I created the thread. I have amended the OP with a list to the post above.
That is a good clarification. I have edited my post to reflect it.You should mention that, when you say "names", you mean when a member nominates her either to his list or as an addition after his list has been submitted....Just saying her name in a post doesn't count. lol
Methinks an attempt to cram as many candidates into a limited 32-person only field may have clouded things a bit for some of us.I thought it was pretty clear.
