Alabama vs Oklahoma game tonight.

Kalen's favorite Nike Hoodie has not helped him vs
Oklahoma the last couple games. Will he get the Tide to beat Oklahoma this time?

My gut says OU by 4.
Bama is just not a very consistent or good team.
That OU defense is good all the time even if the offense is pretty bad.

I suspect Mateer gets the QB run game going more this time and that is the difference.

I give OU a lot of respect for getting through that schedule with only 2 losses. That is a legit top 5 defense.

Mateer is a local kid who got overhyped in the portal but is better than he has shown the past month.

Crazy...Looked like it was going to be Oklahoma running away with it and beating the tide three in a row *last year too.

I was telling a friend that Kalen talked about his nike pull over hoodie being a bit of a lucky charm for him...but it seems it has not worked for him vs Oklahoma.

But with just seconds away from halftime....Turnovers have made the difference and now they are tied up.

Early on i figured the second half might not be watching if Oklahoma kept things going vs Bama....but now the second half has turned into a must watch.

Now who knows, maybe Oklahoma comes back it the second and turns things back around in their favor and beat Bama in a dominant fashion.

In other words what seemed like a boring game has turned into an interesting game...at least for now.

The better team advanced. This OU offense was one of the worst to ever make the CFP. Mateer might be more raw as a QB than Arch but he's a year older and has more experience. He has terrible mechanics and just doesn't look like he understands the position to play it effectively at a high level. He dominated the weaker competition last year when he was at Washington State but this is different

the injury to his hand did not help but he simply did not play well
OK D did not live up to its hype as Bama O is not that good

I just rewatched that pick six he threw and that may be the worst one Ive ever seen. Usually when those sideline picks happen the WR is in more or less the right spot but the DB jumps it. This one the WR had kept running and was 10 yards down field.

Gotta give the defenses some credit as they’re playing great right now. The adrenaline is going to wear off soon and I think we’ll see some scoring.

Not sure what a kicker can do when the wind is gusting like that.

Aggies defense has been great. The punt return almost gave Miami points, but that's it.
