They're picking up the pace now. Starting to look like another shootout. The last matchup between these two was an incredible shootout.
Kind of slow so far this time

Says the ND fanboy? lolSEC AND ESPN laugh at you
He was ejected.Targeting? Baloney!! Did they eject that Georgia player??
I don’t get the joke.Says the ND fanboy? lol
says the SEC and Conference stoogeSays the ND fanboy? lol
Thanks Sydla.He was ejected.
You don’t have to hit a player with your helmet. The rule states forcible contact with head or neck area. It does not say specifically with your helmet. So yes, hitting a player with your shoulder in the head can be targeting. Thanks Sydla.
I don't think that should've been called targeting. First, the defender didn't come in helmet first, he came in with his shoulder. Granted the receiver took a hard hit, but part of that hit resulted from the receiver's own momentum. Sometimes I think they just overdo some of those calls.
I agree and I think simple results support this statementAnd the reality is the SEC isn’t the conference it was a decade ago. NIL and the portal have balanced things out more.
He definitely led with shoulder but the player was judged defenseless and he definitely had impact directly to the receivers headThanks Sydla.

It’s looking like a Miami IU final.I didn’t think Georgia would struggle against Ole Miss.
looking at the replay, this whole defenseless claim is all too often taken too farHe definitely led with shoulder but the player was judged defenseless and he definitely had impact directly to the receivers head
I thought it was the correct call. JMHO
That's a valid topic of discussion but the way the rule currently in force is worded, I think it was the correct call. The receiver did not have a chance to establish himself after the catch before the contactlooking at the replay, this whole defenseless claim is all too often taken too far
