Ch 11 Removed From Dish Network?

We are having Thanksgiving at my parents today with family and I see that KTVT 11 is removed?! ***? I'm tired of these cable companies and tv networks having these hissy fits and screwing over the customers in the end. How are we supposed to watch the game now?

Can you disconnect the satellite receivers and go buy some rabbit ears? Cowboys game on Thanksgiving is a tradition since I can remember being alive.

It is usually always CBS that pulls this. I have had it affect me four different times, all in California.

That's what I would do unless you have someway of streaming to the television. Just make sure you figure out how far you are from the tower in Cedar Hill and buy an antenna for the appropriate distance.

I would do this if I was at home but I do not have my stuff here for that. My parents wouldn't know what an HDMI is if you put it in front of them haha.

Crap the bar may not have it then, so business will be down. That sucks. We were planning to dump DISH anyway, so this will be the final straw.

I have DTV at home, at least channel 11 is still on it.

I thought Twitter streams the games, I even watched another NFL game last week on YT when I had the TV on the Cowboys. If it is a local blackout thing for a legit livestream then VPN and stream.

My Dad and I used to have to "tune" the outdoor antenna when they would black-out games. One of us would turn the Antenna with a big pipe wrench and the other would watch the TV and yell feedback to the other. My Mom would be in the middle relaying the message back and forth.

A couple of cites outside the DFW metroplex broadcast the games and that's what we were "tuning" in. I think it was Waco and maybe Abilene.

Sears had an electric Antenna tuner for $60 but my Dad was not going to spend money on fancy stuff.

No CBS for Dish. Best thing to do is call and complain to get billing credits. I’ve done this numerous times when they have disputes with broadcasting companies.
