Chad Reuter expects LB Shemar James to be a starter

 Shemar James is a special teams player at best. He is an undersized LB just like Overshown . These smaller LBs working the middle are more prone to injury.
6 linebackers went in the 5th round. Paul and James were the worse 2. The other 4 drafted after James are all better, faster and more highly recruited regarded prospects.

This seemed like a throw away pick.

But..

He’s only like 20 years old so there could be a lot more development here.

Might look decent occasionally in a tight end coverage, hybrid specific type role Quinn used with Jayron Kearse.
But if you're talking lining up and playing man to man or zone run defense he'll get lit up.

Lol you’re calling 5-7 round picks ‘notable busts’ less than 24 hours after the draft. There are words for this that I’m not going to use, but if you want to live in that world be my guest.
LOL, everybody becomes a teacher now. All these so-called experts with their grades - means squat. We will all end out, nobody has a crystal ball.

Day 3 is a C+. Grade.

Notable busts-
James- a lb that wasn't good in college but looks athletic in the gym. He is terrible against the run, ok vs the pass...where they needed a big MLB, they draft a pass princess..

Both DT- no confidence Jerry allows them the time needed to develop. They don't have the quick step he looks for in a defensive lineman.

Blue- his best asset is catching out of the backfield but a small catch radius. This is a weakness of Dak. He's also got to correct his fumble issues.
Notable busts...... Before a single OTA even.

GM, Head Scout, Coach Charron has spoken. This is not the way.
