Chances Garrett gets fired?

Is there a chance at all that Garrett gets canned after this season?

If so, what record will it take? I see the team losing at least 7 more games easily. Ideally, the team just quits on him like they did with Wade. We have Green Bay right before the bye. It's very possible that Rodgers can drop 50 on this defense.

Garrett is so quick to throw players under the bus to save his own butt, that I am not sure why anyone would want to play for him at this point.

I think it would have to be a melt down style repeat of last year. That would force Jerry to act. Close to .500 football and he's safe.

That's what I think. I know he's owed a bunch on contract but probably not much more than a few months of maintenance on his new helicopter and whatever he pays the pilot
Mostly kidding, Jerry doesn't like paying coaches that aren't working..I'd bet there's some buyout clauses favorable to him.

Jerry already has a built in excuse to keep his trainee with Romo getting hurt. Jerry has proven he would rather lose and be comfortable than hire a real coach. Four or less wins might do it but somehow I think Jerry will let it slide.

No chance. Garrett puts up with Jerry and Jerry likes that. He's Jerrys boy. If a 4-12 disaster didnt do it...nothing will. Most HC with Garretts record would have been sacked about 5 minutes after last season ended.

This season is all about sweating Romo and the coaching staffs contracts. Romo will be a June 1st cut. Unless we go to the playoffs, the entire coaching squad is gone.

Our next coach will inherit a promising young talented team, anchored by a great OL, which has under performed under Garrett. Good building blocks for success.

Are contracts Guranteed fully for coaches like they aren't for players? I honestly think Jason Garrett doesn't care anymore. Having a bigger smile on his face than the winning coach at the end of the game. He needs to be fired if no playoffs. Pathetic.

Of course there is a chance.

The owner has to sell tickets. He won’t fire the gm. He won’t hire anyone that will right the ship either, so I see no reason to wish for this to occur.

He is Jerry's boy...he could survive...still has the Romo alibi and a couple of fall guys in Linehan and Marinelli.
