Change is in the air

The cowards are the ones that keep whining and keep coming back with the tails tucked between their legs. Those became comical ans their is no hope for them, at all. But, they provide a good laugh. Jerry laughs all the way to the bank at their expense. Don't you feel bad for those guys?
I feel bad for you and your addiction to Jethro Kool Aid

Don't feel bad, the good Lord has blessed me with a great life. Just having fun, enjoying life, and not letting the little things bother me. Get me another Jethro Kool Aid from the cooler. Salud!!

He has no clue just how tough the Normandy Invasion was and how unknown locations rained down fire upon the invading forces...neither side expecting the real battle or forces at play. War is hell and the NFL is pretty tough for a sport. The Cowboys have plenty of game changers for their self and right now.

We will be a wildcard at best and I think that is a stretch. Yes we improved, but so did the rest of the division. Giants wont be that easy W anymore. We have a chance if we control the line of scrimmage, run well, and convert TD's in the redzone (which we were one of the worst at). Thank you for passively admitting the acquistion of Zeke and Dalvin were bad moves.

CCboy on the prowl, guard duty. Any MRE's left.

Invading mice might come for them.

Forgive me, I didn't mean to imply Parsons didn't show. That dude tries to play 110% all season and can't do it alone. My problem with him is he wants to be a leader but doesn't lead. Doesn't get into other players faces when they half-butt it. Like a certain player who just left that was "tired" against GB.

And what of the other defenders? They just plain gave up. So forgive me if I think this defense won't change all that much until most of the starters who played against GB are GONE.
As for the other defender’s on the team, with all the injuries to Overshown, Bland, Diggs, Parsons for awhile, Lawrence, they were playing mostly backups. Heck even Dak’s injury affected the entire team mentally. Lot’s of factors to consider instead of just going off half cocked about how they suck.

My father was there and he was very descriptive about it; luckily he was at Utah.

anyone comparing football to war has my COMPLETE AND TOTAL CONTEMPT

I never made it past cowards...sorry. I will not lie, steal, or cheat...nor tolerate those who do. Air Force standard prior to my Army service. Nurses in Viet Nam prior to becoming officially Veterans.

Jerry has always been loyal to the good of his players and worked hard to make things to their real advantages. Standards in execution and sustainment were sport in origin, but human as well. His teams have always been competitive on the level of a sport and struggling for success. I respect that and the play. It's a tough sport and demands heart.
Stop calling people cowards.. its pathetic.

30 years and counting...we are going to the Super Bowl!!

There seems to be change in the air at the Star these days. I don’t remember, in recent history anyway, they’ve been this active in attempting to fill holes. Don’t be quick to poo poo the free agents as they signed some quality depth there. Not top tier talent but better players than in the past. As everyone should know, you must have quality depth to compete for a Super Bowl because they will be put to the test at some point during the season. As an example of the changes just look at the 2024 RB depth chart compared to 2025:

2024 RB room

* Rico Dowdle
* Ezekiel Elliott
* Dalvin Cook
* Hunter Luepke
* Duece Vaughn

2025 RB room as of May 7th

* Jayden Blue
* Javonte Williams
* Miles Sanders
* Phil Mafah
* Hunder Luepke or Duece

That’s a solid upgrade to the running backs room. Bruisers as well as quickness. Exciting.

The Pickens trade has really got me excited not only becuase he’s one of the best WR’s in the NFL but it signals that theres a change underway in the philosophy of how Jerry and Stephen run the show.

Resigning Osa, Turpin and Hoffman show they got ahead of those contracts which is something they’ve had difficulty doing. Parsons is unsigned but so is Purdy, Trey Hendrickson and TJ Watt.

Trades:
  • Acquired QB Joe Milton III and a 2025 seventh-round pick from the New England Patriots: in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round draft pick.

  • Acquired WR Kaiir Elam from the Buffalo Bills: in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick.

  • Acquired LB Kenneth Murray from the Tennessee Titans: in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick.
  • Acquired WR George Pickens and a 2027 fifth round pick from the Pittsburgh Steelers: in exchange for a 2026 3rd round pick and 2027 fifth round pick
Free Agency Signings:
  • Signed WR Parris Campbell .
  • Signed OLB Dante Fowler Jr. .
  • Signed G Robert Jones .
  • Signed RB Javonte Williams .
  • Signed DT Solomon Thomas .
  • Signed RB Miles Sanders .
Re-Signings:
  • Re-signed DT Osa Odighizuwa .
  • Re-signed WR KaVontae Turpin .
  • Re-signed RB Ty Johnson .
  • Re-signed G Brock Hoffman .
  • Re-signed DE Tyrus Wheat .
  • Re-signed S Juanyeh Thomas .
  • Re-signed CB CJ Goodwin .
  • Re-signed LS Trent Sieg .
  • Re-signed P Bryan Anger .
  • Re-signed S Markquese Bell .
It’s starting to look like the Cowboys may have a playoff team this year that could go far with some luck with injuries which every team needs.

Enjoy the season!
One and done. Nothing new under the sun.
