We have similar tastes in beer. Negra Modelo is the smoothest dark beer in history. I have a few in the fridge right now... Modelo Especial is also very good as is Shiner Bock...

Corona is nothing more than marketing. When I was in college, Corona was $2.50 a 6 pack. Around my senior year, the marketing campaign kicked in and it went up to $4.50. As a marketing major, we actually closely watched the campaign... it was genius promotion of cheap beer...

The funny thing is, my brothers ex-wife (she was illegal before they married) said nobody in Mexico drinks Corona except Americans. She said everyone she knows (and all her friends, uncles, brothers, etc that live in Mexico) all drink Superior. Though this was a good 15+ years ago that she told me this. I do not know if it is still true.

It is still true. Even in South Texas the Mexicans make fun of all the Corona drinking white folk.
