changed my mind on Price

I'am just not comfortable with our 2 Starting WR's, Glenn's injury prone, Key's getting up in years and the top backup Crayton hardly has played, Copper, by all accounts has taken a step backward and Crowder doesn't know how to play WR, Signing Price who is only 30 helps us this year and next. :iggles: :trophy: :suxiggle: :disseags:

I'll say it again, Price is rated just one spot lower than Glenn in the top 80 players at WR in the Sports Illustrated Fantasy League mag on your newstands now, he's as good as as Glenn at least on paper, so it would be like adding #2 quality to our wr corps, this deal will happen, Bill wants him worse than they are trying to appear, I mean comeon when was the lst time old Jerrah invited someone up to the suite and he went elsewhere. You might have not noticed but we got something good going on here, we will make the playoffs as a wild card, hey if TO gets hurt who knows. If we sign this guy and one or two of oldsters at wr goes down it will look like as big a steal as Chris Canty in the fourth round. You cannot have enough depth at WR, they go down too much...
Barry, there are some posters who feel fantasy football rankings are just that - 'fantasy'. I know I'm one.

Until they start considering all the things a Keyshawn Johnson brings to the table, I can't take them seriously myself...not when it comes to evaluating a player who plays a TEAM sport in the real world.

Price has some obvious commendables, like speed, a good track record in Buffalo, and Bledsoe's testimonial.

Where he ranks in the FF world?

My guess is he's actually better.

A healthy Glenn and Price are both better than KJ. I put KJ as #3 and he gets elevated when Glenn goes down (which is the likely scenario since he's only ever had one healthy season).

From Parcells PC:

Don't read to much into this happening, don't be presumptuous.

I mean it, it would be a mistake to be presumptuous about this happening.

Is that so?

Would that have been 2003?

LOL

My knee jerk reaction was to the first blanket rationale here for signing him.

Terry is gonna get hurt.

Now I'm thinking this clown may help extend his career. :D

I figure it would only help things, I just wonder if they will pay the guy, cause he will require more money than a 3rd WR. Maybe money between a 2nd and a 3rd. And if he gets here, he is earn his spot on the depth chart, like Tuna makes everyone do. Nothing will be given to him or Crayton.

Give Glenn and Key a break, at this point in their careers, it will really help them.

Glenn and Key are like those used cars you keep too long, you know eventually they will end badly, I may be wrong but Keyshawn may be the greatest blocker on earth but he hasn't been open a lot this pre-season, thinking he may have lost his limited abilty to get open, hope I am wrong. to show you that I practice what I preach my main car has 127,000 miles on it, but I also got a spare, believe me if you are gonna go
with these wheezers you will need an extra wr or two during the season..
