For the most part I believe in not changing head coaches mid-season. In this case I've changed my mine and I would like to explain why.

Player mentality. When Wade took over, the team was winning. They were winning because they had a physical footballs teams mentality / personality. That was something Parcells instilled in them. Parcells problem was he didn't like change and I think the game passed him by.

Overtime this team has taken on the mentality of Wade and that has been an epic fail and many you including myself was against this from the start.

Now, why change mid-season? Because before this team can start winning again, the mentality of the team has to change. Now, when do you want that change to start happening because it won't happen overnight? Training camp, or right now?

I want the whoever is going to coach this team start changing the mentality of the team today.

Nothing good can come from Wade coaching this team another game.

I agree. The mentality, weak mindedness has to change. The lack of accountability. A new coach would have a fresh start, and the the chance to teach these guys something new. 3/4 of this squad should be fighting for their jobs and told that. Sims said it on TV Broadcast. Open the whole thing up. Every position up for grabs (about 80% of them, there should be competition).

We NEED to find out NOW what we have in Scandrick, Akwasi, Lee, the Williams trio, even Hurd and Oggletree, Tash Choice, Young on the oline. Lissemore, Brent, Butler, need to play more.

I don't buy the BS that doing those things is throwing in the towel. Going with the same coaches and playing the same players no matter what is throwing in the towel. They underestimate fans. Most would rather improve the mentality and attitude and focus and HABITS of the team than win an extra game or two. Set the tone for future.

A fresh face or start is needed, who cares if it is mid-season. Ok, don't hire a new coach off the street right away, but promote someone or give Garrett a chance. Dallas needs to know if he can handle a TEAM, not just an O.
