Changes coming...

Wade was talking about changes to his diet. He's planning on losing another 25 pounds.

He'll be the size of Lou Holtz. A weak-kneed Lou Holtz.

And Roy understands the O? Or is it a case of over evaluated talent?

Maybe so, but I can live with rookie mistakes, rather than some vet that has no continuity with Romo, has developed no trust with Romo, and is simply not getting the job done.

Its obvious to me, that Dez and Romo have more trust between the two of them, and if nothing more the rookie has way more upside.

Roy would be a hero right now if it weren't for that Barron penalty

Wade said chages are coming. Here is what they should be:

1) Felix start / Marion finish - Felix needs majority of the touches to get a rythm.

2) Let Roy and Dez split the number 2 wr spot - This way Dez will be ready to start by mid season.

3) More screens and slants and make it a part of who we are on offense.

4) Throw the ball deep at least 4 times a game- stretch the field!!!

Defensive changes.......
No
1) Let Jason Williams or Lee play nickle lb and learn on the fly - If not Keith Brooking will have nothing left for the stretch.

2) Blitz more not all the time just mix it up more. Saftey, MLB, and CB blitzes. Lets go!!!!!!!!!

There you have it. I still believe!!!!!!!

None of that will change the outcome because the players are undisciplined. The only fix is if Wade turns into something he isn't which of course, isn't going to happen.

One question?

How can Romo throw deep, when he is lucky to have 1.5 seconds to get rid of the ball before he is pressured or sacked?

Solution:?
I guess you keep everyone back to block except 1 or 2 receivers going deep!
Wait - wouldn't that leave a bunch of players on defense to cover the 1 or 2 receivers? Then they wouldn't be open for Romo to throw to. That would just give the defensive rushers more time to get to Romo ......etc. I give up!

Wait: I have the answer- Let the other team have Ware on their defensive team for each game, because he never gets to the QB (or at least that is what some people on this board tell me.)

Or, alternately, just this:

1. Get turnovers.
2. Don't give up turnovers.
3. Reduce penalties.
4. Run block.
5. Make field goals.
Or this:

1. Win.

All we'll see is less frosting on the cupcakes.

The more I hear Wade talk, the more he sounds like Charlie Brown's Mom......:lmao: Nothing will Change....

Won't matter who starts and who finishes if Garrett gives up on the running game.

Now I know, cause the talking heads and football geniuses of the world like Randy Galloway and company, said that after Barbers three solid runs early on the Cowboys ran the ball 12 times for 6 yards. That's their proof that the running game wasn't working.

What they fail to mention, and probably fail to grasp, is that running the football is very much about a rythm, just like everything else on offense. So we carried the ball 12 times for 6 yards the rest of the way.

Ok...how far spread out were the 12 carries? considering we're talking about 12 carries over 3 quarters I'm going to be able to guess, very easily, that they were pretty spread out.

Meaning he ran it, got a yard or two, and then didn't come back to the run for 12-15 plays or more. You can NOT have a successful running game with a gameplan like that.

Sorry but it just won't work that way. You can't expect the running game to go BAM! Give you big yards when you decide to run it once in a while. You have to actually committ to it, get in that rythm, and let it do it's work just like the passing attack.

So it's not going to matter who gets the most touches, or when, because they're probably not going to be allowed to get the amount of touches necassary to get the running game going anyway.

You need to actually watch the games apparently. Romo had plenty of time for deep balls for most of the Chicago game.
