You still don't get it. The Steelers have a much better team than we do. Yet, which QB (Russell Wilson or Dak Prescott) helped lead their team to a win at Pittsburgh when our Cowboys played them earlier in the season?

Had Dak had a much better team (better Oline, more than just 1 WR threat, a actual Running game and a Defense), this team would have a much better record than 5-7 which they have right now. Half of our losses have been within a TD or less. We would likely have an 8-4 record right now.
Russell Wilson did not play in that game. You can't even think straight with Dak rumbling around in your head.

What are you? The other Dak hater's puppet parroting the same thing he said?
I did not see his until after I posted. You are losing it, big time. You have Dak so in your head you don't even know what the hell you are talking about, plus, with your "hatred" crap, you sound like Rockport, which you probably were until you got caught.

Who gives??? The Steelers have a much better team! Get it through your Dak hating stubborn head!!!

Sick and tired of your BS...
Sorry but that dog won't hunt. You tried to make it about Dak by indicating that "he beat Wilson" head to head earlier this year. But Wilson wasn't playing then and Pittsburgh was terrible without him. Once he became the starter they started rolling.

Call that "hating", call it "BS", Call It whatever you wish. It doesn't change that it is incontrovertible factual analysis.

Wilson would have been a far better quarterback for this team at 1/60th of the cost. The only people who are stubborn are people like you and Jerry who still believe Dak is worth 2 craps. He's a garbage leader and a garbage quarterback and the sooner that cancer is out of our locker room the better off the Cowboys will be

There is nothing (realistic) he can do.

You cant trade him and you cant release him until 2026 post june 1st.

These next 4 years are going to play out like the last 4 with him.
Thanks WillieBeamen.....pretty much the point......so I guess the only consistency will be for the Board slinging misery and malcontent.

As for the next 4 years......There can be a plan if Jerry decides to continue filling more of the holes on this team instead of fooling the fanbase. Not too late, but "All In" needs to mean "All In". We've seen QBs, even the one that plays good for the most part (Burrows) suffers without having other phases (particularly his defense) clicking.....we've seen Goff have a bad game (5 ints) and still get help in a game from elsewhere. No QB can be expected to constantly perform perfect & flawless.

Since we're stuck with Dak (Jerry's doing)......let's hope there's some prove to "All In" going forward. A good sign for this year......emergence of Overshown, Luepke when playing, and guys playing due to injuries. Jerry is the problem.

Liar and false accuser. That's all you are and do around here. Reminds me of half of the populace. Lie to no end. Lie, lie and keep lying. Never admit the truth. Sad and pathetic.

I never mentioned Wilson and didn't care. Dak beat the Steelers at their place. Period. Dak also beat Wilson during a home playoff several years ago, only a few years removed of when Wilson and the Seahawks had reached a Super Bowl. Choke on those facts. Lying choking fans are the problem.

Bingo. Thread ends here.

Of course you have to dance around the obvious but until that happens nothing else will ever matter.
I get what you guys are doing here and that's OK even though a lot of what you're saying is true it doesn't end there you still have a franchise to run and fans to pull for the Cowboys regardless we don't like things at the top in the front office you gotta hope for good free agency additions a very good above expectation draft and get the guys back from injury lot of guys off injury is the main reason that we're not successful I realized the first five games of the season before everyone started dropping out you could say the Saints game we were relatively healthy no we didn't have Durham bland and diggs was just coming off the surgery lot of things could have been changed and adjusted if we had a full complement of players but when you lose 2 full pages at two position literally lost just about all our defensive ends and our corners and then the rest of the injury started dropping we started losing guys like Ferguson Prescott cooks and lambs injured guys in and out of the lineup all this year's been more like 2020..

What to say we should just stop the thread and we shouldn't discuss anything else from here on no it's so important to me that we have a team like we did three years prior I'll take the 36 wins two division titles and making the playoffs at least have that shot 'cause you never know one of these games someone's gonna step up and make a big play and we can end up in an NFC championship game you need to get there first so we do need to get back on track from this year and to do that we have to discuss what would be an improvement into the OP the biggest thing here for me number one on the list...

  1. fire MM and Hire HC let him hire the best OC/DC and staff he can-50% improvement right there IMHO 2024 besides injury, its the schemes or lack thereof.
  2. get all the starters back from injury and hope we have healthier year.
  3. 1-3 year players improve ie Guyton, furgs, Liafu, kneeland and mazi to name few
  4. reagge the OL no need to draft no FA needed we have disccused it. tyler back at LT -bass-Beebee-Hoffman-Guyton richards swing and anther swing tackle pickup. Or Richards-Tyler-Bb-hoffman-guyton bass swing G and get swing tackle maybe steele takes huge pay cut to stay.
  5. Draft BPA but NO TEs, OL, QB, or truly no Dbs. are truly needed; go after the very best at wr, OLB/DE pass rusher, maybe MLB, and a RB and IDL.
That should be doable and not hard IMHO.. MM dropped the ball developing and using Turp, Hunter, and Rico in 2023 led to issues in 2024 and the inability to evaluate his own schemes and demote himself as OC and get that OL after the bye like above. Best 5 he failed on all levels..

the problem is none of this will happen until the GM change happens...this all starts with hiring a GM to hold accountable for the things you listed..
