I can't think of a single reason to remove anyone from the defensive staff. Unless you were to promote Marinelli to like an AHC role and then promote Richard to DC.

My early candidate to get the axe not named Scott Linehan is Paul Alexander. Sanjay could be in those conversations as well.

Exactly. At seasons end Linehan will be gone and Marinelli will retire. At least we already have a bonfire DC in place. Too bad we didn’t snatch up Norv when he was available. He’d be my first choice to groom a young QB.

It's rhetorical. I know Garrett wasn't even in these evaluation meetings.

I think the only possible reprieve we as Cowboy fans may have is a promotion of Garrett to GM. Garrett is considered family so that might be a possibility.....


He might make a good GM.
