I know.

The #4 pick is reserved for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost only.

If the boys do not take him @4, watch where 8-10 other teams think he should be selected.

This is not about the player it is about the position.

I thought that yesterday, but not now. Dallas wants Elliott.

However, the thing to watch is to see if anybody else trades up to 3 to take Elliott.

Elliott is actually the player many former personnel people say is the best talent in the draft. Mayock, Casserly, and Riddick all think so.

nobody is trading up to three for a running back in today's NFL

Even if this is true...I disagree...it doesn't matter. He could be the best player in the draft but he plays one of the least important positions.

I don't get why people don't get this...please get it.

The "most important position" is completely relative. It's a silly notion.

Quarterback wasn't the most important position for Baltimore when Dilfer won a Super Bowl. It obviously wasn't in Denver last year when Peyton was awful. Receiver wasn't the most important position when Jerry Rice was there. Running back wasn't the most important position for New England, and corner wasn't the most important position for Green Bay.

Elliott looks like he could be a transcendent player behind this young line for the next 8-10 years. Ramsey looks like a nice piece of a good defense in three years.

Why quibble with that? Just take Elliott.

San Diego didn't even bring Ramsey in for a visit, so my pick for them is either Buckner or Tunsil...

if Ramsey is at four, Dallas selects him, he and Tunsil are the best players in this draft IMO

Unlike us SD picks players who they don't invite for a visit even high.

I can see it now. San Diego is gonna pick Ramsey and I'll be super hyped because I'll be thinking we'll pick Elliott... then we take DeForest Buckner or Joey Bosa and I cry myself to sleep.

If Ramsey goes 3 to San Diego or another team, I am hoping the next words out of the commissioner's mouth are, "We have a trade.................."

This is not about the player it is about the position.

Those other teams don't have this offensive line, and they much bigger problems than Dallas.

The Cowboys are here because Romo got hurt. The other teams are almost ALWAYS drafting top ten.

Maybe that would be true for another team, but it certainly wasn't for this team. There were few who impacted the team more than Murray in 2014.

It is still about value.

Who in the Top 5 last year would take Gurley over the players they took?

Not Tampa. Not Tennessee. Not Oakland. Maybe Jacksonville because their first round pick Fowler tore his ACL before the season.

So Elliott is now a transcendent player. In an hour or 2 he's going to be able to walk on water.

Considering he had an ACL tear and still went at 10...

Great, he went 10.

So you think Tennessee or Tampa turns down a chance for a frnachise QB for Gurley? How about Oakland? Jacksonville took Fowler and he tore his ACL before the season but their coach is a defensive minded coach so I suspect they stick with Fowler. Maybe Washington might trade Scherff for Gurley but they think they uncovered a gem in Jones.

I already told people that I heard a rumor that if he lands in Dallas he might be able to cure cancer in his spare time.
