Um, other than Keith Brooking and Igor Olshansky, who has Wade brought in that are "his guys"?

The jury is out on Brooking and Igor whether they'll suck or not.

Carlos Polk and

Wilhelm would be a good pick up. He fit well into Wade's defense, but not with the new guy (whoever that is in SD). He is a solid LB that will hit. At a minimum he would push the other guys we have now and would be a possible option in the middle (since we don't have any backups to James).

So, was he cut because he sucked or because he was two expensive, though $ 2 mil does not seem exhor . . exorb . . . expensive.

(and I hate it when Wade brings in "his guys." they usually suck, like him)

Whilhelm plays soft and he over pursues running plays. He comes in high and a RB can easily cut back on him. He was susposed to be good in pass defense, but he was never in a position to make a play. His play is below average. Just my .02

Edit: That is why we signed Burnett.

I doubt they suck even Zach last year did not suck; if you are expecting probowls then you may be disappointed if you are expecting solid veteran player who knows how to do his job that is what we will most likely get and what this team needs.

I agree.

And for the record, Zach was not a "Wade guy", as he had not played for him before.

That would be relevant if we were looking at him as a starter... but we are not. You will find few depth players who don't have holes in their games. BTW -- how can you never be in position to make a play on pass D yet have 6 career INTs ? Your precious Burnett has a single int over 4 years.

I guess you do not mind having a back-up who misses tackles? In pass defense, you have to be close enough to make a play on the ball. Any QB can throw in the middle and not see a LB. If you sign Wilhem, you will know who he is because you will be able to read his name on his jersey while he is trailing a play.;)

I guess you don't mind not understanding that backups always have holes. The guy HAS made plays, despite your contention. But hey, enjoy the four days of injury-free training camp you'll get from Burnett next week

Even though I am a Buckeye fan, they don't seem to fare well here except Terry Glenn that I can think of.

Yes cause Chris Carter, David Boston, and Eddie George all sucked. tOSU puts out some very good players, especially WRs and DBs.

I said tOSU players that PLAYED FOR THE COWBOYS. I don't recall Boston and CRIS Carter playing for the Cowboys. Eddie George did sucked while he was a Cowboy.
