Chargers game review

It would make sense to give Lavar Edwards some looks inside in the Nickel, the team is doing it with Greg hardy, Jeremy Mincey and Ryan Russell.

But I don't recall reading about Edwards doing it yet.

Definitely something to watch for, Edwards showed up positively in the second half of the Chargers game, but he has a lot more seasoning than the roster long shots he was playing against.

He's on the outside looking in for a roster spot at this point, IMO, but there is plenty of time for things to change based on performance and health.

True stuff -- he was headed for the bubble as a DE but after somewhat impressive performances in TC, the staff came to realize he was better suited to compete as a DT than a DE. He gained a lot of strength in the offseason, so the transfomation pretty much became a natural progression of his talent.

There's going to be a couple players that end up getting cut from this DL group that are going to get a long hard look from other teams. It's been awhile since anyone could say that.
