If he's actually injured, let him sit out, but if they are trying to 'play it safe', they better knock it off. We saw what that got us with Dez and Romo last year. Get him on the field if he can play. Letting these guys sit out all of these practices and preseason games is going to lead to injuries during the actual season and is going to result in possible losses during games we could have won due to rust.

These guys won't be ready for Week 1 if all they do is sit around. The younger guys need to work through aches and pains.
