Chase expected to get $40-41m per year making him the highest-paid non-QB in the NFL

That sounds correct, but we haven't even been through the phase were he stops following the Cowboys instagram and goes on radio silence.
To be honest the Cowboys don’t have to extend Parsons. For the money he will command you might be better off tagging him twice. It’s gonna take some time but a deal might get done over the summer. Let’s just hope he doesn’t hold out although I don’t think it would matter much. Parsons job is to hit the quarterback. It’s not like Ceedee who has to get chemistry with the quarterback and the new offensive wrinkles over the summer.

Why does this affect Micah’s value? Chase is much better at what he does than Micah is. I wouldn’t pay the huge ransom.

A deal is already done.

Jerry did this with lamb and Dak last season. Keeps them in the media and being talked about.
Right, the deal was done when he met with him at that college game, they just have to recheck it due to Myles and Jamar Chase changing the market! Lol

Or....trade him for #1, #2, #2, and draft the #1 QB in 2026
Finally we'll be on the road to the Super Bowl
This ain’t madden friend.

You trade Micah to a team he almost guarantees that team isn’t getting the first overall pick.

My friend. Last season do you remember all the drama around CeeDee? And then Dak saying he doesn’t listen anymore to what Jerry says to the media?

Because they already had deals in place, Jerry told them and the agent “let’s drag this out for drama, I’ll give you guys record setting deals, just keep quiet.”

I can guarantee you that. Otherwise. Why wait? lol. It makes no sense to say we aren’t setting the market to then set the market.

It's called combining, we'll be picking high enough to get there. Easily. If needed we could offer up to 3 #1s

That sounds plausible, in theory. But if true about Micah, a lot of people here would be shocked that he didn't blab about it on social media.

And the WR’s salaries are why all those vets are sitting at home right now. This is getting ridiculous

HOW LONG IS JERRY GOING TO WAIT

first of all

we need to stop doing this.. We don't need to post every time another player makes a big contract and say it's Jerry's fault and we don't need to hear about this we already know about this I mean you all don't need to post every new contract if it has nothing to do with the Cowboys because it really doesn't they're not related....

the Cincinnati Bengals should be accused of waiting too long ,they're actually signing T Higgins to a ridiculous contract ,and adding jamar chase who they should have signed last year, and Jerry is the one being told he should hurry up!!!
literally this is the NFL, had nothing to do with each other, Parsons already stated he does not need to be the highest paid non quarterback, we'll see if he holds to his word, this not raising his price, this insane that you think so,
if it works out that way keep receipts, and we can talk but you can't do everything by everybody else's pace and Cincinnati screwed this all up themselves they overpaid severely for Jamar chase could have probably had him for 38 million last year(but they didint, funny thing when a player an agent say no to those type of numbers and they purposely wait so they can get paid more that's the irony here jamar chase did this to the Bengals but no one's blaming him and his agent they're blaming the NFL and their ownership is that they want to pay more for their players) and now they have to pay 42...

This is actually on Micah Parsons and his agents, believe that,

you think Jerry wants to pay more literally what's he supposed to do give a blank check to these players you all are insane it's obvious you don't run a $10 billion business, that you're not business people, they can't rush a contract if ALL parties are not making it easy.

You come to the realization that an agent and a player are doing everything they can to wait and hold things up so they can get more money/.FACT
I mean what is the owner supposed to do you show me proof that Jerry wants to pay more for these players and hasn't tried to offer more because you have no proof you have 0 because you're not in these meetings you're not on these phone calls you're not listening in on the zoom because it's agents who are lawyers and all this stuff is protected information no ones allowed to talk about it unless they all agree to say it therefore you don't know why it's being held up with last I checked no business purposely wants to pay their employees more money it tells me that the agents and players are playing hardball and there's nothing you can do about it as an owner except keep negotiating..

How about pat Jerry on the back because we all know that lamb did this on purpose, he waited and waited and waited and now they got him for the third overall cost of a wide receiver.. How quick was that all of a sudden it doesn't seem that big it's more like 4th overall in non quarterback money in less than a year.

. I guess that's a win for the owner and I guess for the fans 'cause somehow this is coming out of your checking account apparently because you worry about players money and you think that it's Jerry Jones and it gets old you all have zero clue we call it being clueless because you you know what's going on but you really don't social media is not full of accurate information and that's all you know is what you're getting from Twitter and Bleacher Report and ESPN and they have no real inside information even though you think they're called insiders...

Micah is going to be pushing 50 mil a season at this rate
first of all NO that wont happen.. Micah Parsons is not worth $10 million more than miles Garrett that's their number it'll be close or it could even be a little less so stop the drama in the ridiculousness...

Jerry’s just waiting for his next tv cameo appearance. He’s oblivious to the Micah deal. Just this small potatoes stuff.

Who is his agent btw?

Not for Dallas he isnt...that plus dak and ceedees contacts are not feasible to field a team that can compete
not really look how fast this changes I'm not agreeing with dodo up there because they're not going to give Parsons 10M More than MG,

Garrett technically is a better player or at least they're even there's no way you pay $10 million for the same thing like 2 cars parked next to each other

no,

it doesn't vary that much, but back to reality CD lambs contract is now the third wide receiver contract amount and 4th or 5th now in non-quarterback money and now don't tell me Prescott's contract is more than Josh Allen's because that's also a false statement just because the AAV looks different because it's spread out differently it is a lot more than steel it just depends on which player stays with their team the longest where it makes the contract have less dead cap money when you end up moving on but right now Josh Allen is the highest paid quarterback as a matter of fact the highest paid player in the league when you look at guaranteed money.

guaranteed money is the only thing you should be looking at... the fact is prescott and lamb's money has been moved around there's plenty of money to build a competitive roster, dont use that as an excuse. they have freed up plenty and deal with MP will free up more..
