We need him to be a player so that he can eventually replace Free. We can't afford to spend another high round draft pick on OL...needs to be all defense.

I don't want to hear about penalties, Smith gets them as well and Witten seems to get them almost weekly with not a peep from the active members here.

LT is not an easy position to play in this league, I don't care who you're going up against. He played more than okay. This is a good way to get that starting RT spot that Free is going to give up here shortly.

1st hold clearly on him, he has trouble shifting right on spin moves
2nd chop block.... Leary should've climbed as he was uncovered, Tyron does this stupid dive block alot as well & whiffs alot! Still a penalty
3rd hold that was declined....just BAD, stupid play that late

Otherwise, he held his own against a subpar DE/DL from the Bears. His 1st NFL game action was a start on the LT spot. I saw a lot of positive plays from him....the penalty plays have to be cleaned.

Solid nothing special....I've seen 70, 71 & 77 have much worst games. Needs more time, but should be a player

"decent" is good for a young guy like him who was injured last year. This was a good game to get under his belt, he will learn from this.
