Yeah, I think we have to be pretty happy with what we got out of Green and the fact that he seems to be making strides. Also saw the valueof having a backup like Leary who was able to step in for Collins and the OL didn't skip a beat.

He did all right. I think with more reps he'd be fine.

Need a thread on La'el Collins.

After I saw him get blasted and end up on his rear it finally hit me that he doesn't understand leverage yet. I would let Collins compete with Free as starter at RT and use him as backup Guard. Holes were better when Leary was in there.

LOL This made me laugh.

So, Collins doesn't understand leverage. So you want him to compete at RT? Please, just sleep on this post and we'll discuss it in the morning.

from what I am seeing...he is not a guard. Trying to find spot for him.

He looked decent enough but with the MASH unit Chicago was running out there only the DLINE in Dallas looked as overmatched. Maybe that was some of the reasoning on not playing Smith?

Dak goes a long way in masking blown assignments by OL.

Penalties are drive killers so he doesn't get a glowing review from me.

I don't want to hear about penalties, Smith gets them as well and Witten seems to get them almost weekly with not a peep from the active members here.

LT is not an easy position to play in this league, I don't care who you're going up against. He played more than okay. This is a good way to get that starting RT spot that Free is going to give up here shortly.

Sold performance on the left side. Has to cut down on the penalties, those kind of mistakes on the road will get them beat.

Didn't hear his name too much so he did ok. Better than he did during pre season thank God.

Not sure but Leary and Chaz played good to me. The run blocking was also a ton better.

I agree, it was nice to see that old depth along the line, like we used to have in the 90's. Two starters down and we didn't miss a beat on offense.
