I cannot see a way that there isn't a better option out there after cuts, if not now.
I'm wondering if Luke Joeckel is still interested in playing football.
Jahri Evans too.

he has zero lateral movement, specially to his left. he just doesn't have that kick out with his left leg, so all night the defenders just took one step to his right and then did a quick move to his left and he was left standing like a tree. if he doesn't get his hands on you on initial snap, he is done. DC's have figured that out very quickly.
"only"... lolThe ATL game. Was it only 6?
Both of those guys are washed up trash. Evans in particular was awful in Green Bay last year. Joeckel was never any good to begin with. Evans had his days of decency back in NOLA 5-10 years ago.I'm wondering if Luke Joeckel is still interested in playing football.

Yep agreed. No counting on Freddy this year
Green is making the team, most likely.Evans was, in fact, not "awful in Green Bay last year."
Jahri Evans is another player some way into his late-career decline, but again is coming down from such a high that he still represents a capable set of hands at a spot where some teams are starting disastrous players. His overall PFF grade in 2017 was 71.7, good enough for 30th in the league, but this is a league with 64 starting guards, and many more hitting the field due to injury, so Evans can still patch up a problem spot for a team, and that could make all the difference to an offense. He allowed just two sacks and 20 additional pressures in 2017.
And again, I'm not saying either guy is a world beater. Only that neither is as awful as Chaz Green. Nobody is.
if that's the case, then that explains a lot. it still doesn't change the fact that at this point, he sucks.I noticed he had some kind of brace/padding sticking out of his pants. His injury last season was related to his hip. I think that might have more to do with his problems than a lack of confidence.

Evans is a guard only. He'd basically be taking Evans' place if anything. Green is primarily a tackle who can also play inside. Green stays.
He's one of the top 8 linemen on the roster? Especially if Freddy is out for 6 weeks or more? Why is it "most likely"? Based on what? Playing terribly and getting hurt? Shoot this staff if this worthless stiff makes the 53.
Green is a guy who can't play. Right tackle, left tackle, guard. Doesn't matter. He can't play anywhere I'll take a "guard only" over a total waste of space.
Well said Sir I have said this since Day 1 when I saw the guy, and some people on this board had month long fights me saying Chaz was good(you know who you are )Dude is awful... idk how you can justify him on this team or PS... he gets the QB killed
Dude couldn’t even block 3rd and 4th stingers who will be watching the games at home like us in 2 weeks!!
I don't think Green is bad. He's a backup for a reason, but he was a very solid swing tackle and starting LT in weeks 4-7, 2016 where we went undefeated, Zeke was unstoppable, Dak looked great and the offense was humming.Well said Sir I have said this since Day 1 when I saw the guy, and some people on this board had month long fights me saying Chaz was good(you know who you are )
A great point and a great thread SIR

Show em out
He had an embarrassing outing against Atlanta, but it wasn't entirely his fault. It could happen to anyone, even Tyron. The fault is on the coaches and Linehan and Garrett for leaving him on an island all game, not even bothering to chip or anything. Dak didn't get the ball out quick enough, because Atlanta didn't take the play action fake seriously because no Zeke.I think he is one of the worst people in the NFL

People overreact way too much to one game.
