Not really, rare? you mean EVERY Rookie deal is cheap, its the 2nd contracts that become the change in perspective from fans. trust me Philly going to have to pay 4 players soon that team very soon market deals and then the narrative shifts to ripping hurts for every bad throw, poor decisions, int , and or fumble and ALL losses.

Ravens/Lamar about to find out how fans narratives shift in heartbeat once you have payer make 50+ mil and still looks the same as he did before.
Yep, what I meant was how many rookie QBs are truely elite?
Not many.

elite, no but very good , yes.. Hurts IS NOT ELITE...He along with many non-elite qbs have made or won a SB guys like Flacco, Dilfer, eli, foles, neil odonell, and others, moreso then elite guys because again they dont come available very often, ...

If all it took was an elite qb to get to or win it why has Rogers, Farve, and brees just to name few only been to one? Marino didnt win one. Mahomes is rare as hes not only eilte won Mvps and now multiple sbs even for an elite guy hes in even more elite company with those first 4 years of success.

.Daks more than good enough to get to one if his team shows up with him.its a team game. be nice if we had run game, OL, play caller and Defense to show up with Dak in the same games.

Looks like we got an answer on the QB Super Bowl debate.

Cherry picking is so convenient isnt it?

I would never chase cheap QB contracts...look at the proven results.
As long as you can find a Mahomes, of which there is usually only ever 1 every 15 years, then you can pay the big money and win. Meanwhile every other team finding success was using a rookie contract.
