Well, after listening to the part I missed, it sounds like we may be screwed.

Broaddus says Romo shows terrible leadership qualities right now and the players he talks to believe Owens cares more about winning than he does.

Hill hints at the same thing and says Romo believes "he's already won the game of life" with the contract and the celebrity girlfriend and doesn't have the fire he once did.

All agree that his comments after the Eagles loss were unacceptable. I think Broaddus actually called them disgraceful.

Even Galloway, as much as he hates Owens, said Romo has problems with his head right now that are bigger than even getting rid of Owens would solve.

Ugh.

Tony, you better decide real quick what kind of career you want to have.

That is really dissapointing to hear. Hopefully the poisoned locker room is all tht is the matter with romo.

It would be something else if is career bottomed out.

He seems to think Romo needs more, too -- seemed to imply that he gets a free pass.

Like they said on the show, 2009 might be pivotal year for Romo. Either he is going to come out of it strong, or might be gone or at least no longer be the hope of the franchise.

And he will hear Boos in home stadium, if he doesn't cut the crap out. Heck Aikman got booed. I think like Aikman said, Romo has had it too easy or rather too quick of ascension from nobody to somebody.

And I think Brian Broaddus mentioned, one thing they look for in QB is if he has taken critisizm and how he responds. Funny thing is, thats exactly the question I had about Romo. I am not sure he mentally strong that way. Ala Eli, letting things roll off.

But like I said, Romo will have to show he can let Critisizm roll off him and prove doubters wrong etc. He so far had , one or two bad games, and then comes back strong. This time around, that wont work. He will have to show consistency throughout year. Until then he won't believers out of lot of fans and his team.

Romo always said no one would know who he was in 5 years, maybe he meant we wouldn't want to be reminded of him in 5 yrs. :)

As much as I love this team, I wouldn't want to play in Dallas. What a mess!

I think coach Jones needs to scare the hell out of Romo, and let him know that 2009 is basically his last chance. Maybe light a fire under his butt.

Tony has some serious issues and I agree his personal philosophy wreaks of "he's already won the game of life".

I posted yesterday how it seemed Romo's head was not in the game this past season.

Poor practice habits, attitude, focus and on the field play indicate that Tony the celeb QB has taken over for Tony the hungry free agent QB.

Fame and fortune changes many, lets hope Romo can get his head out of his buttocks.

" If we win, OK, then you are a great player, if you lose OK, you are just a good, solid player. If this is the worst thing that happens to me in life I will have lived a very good life."

sounds like he already has, unfortunately. he wants to be a "good, solid" player.

we as cowboy fans can go suck wind.

if what theebs suspects is true (about there being racial undertones to this issue) then we are truly fried because that is one genie you cant put back in the bottle.

And if what Theebs says is really true, then cutting TO is not going to make one bit if difference to this locker room.

If this is indeed the case, then the racial issues will be there, and TO being gone will not necessarily fix Romo's head if he thinks he has already "played the game of his life."

I got a bad feeling we are getting ready to see a 6-10, 5-11 year. And if that's Romo's attitude about the game it may be hard to change it without really challenging him or even benching him, which given his salary I don't see them doing that.

We are screwed.
