Name two Dallas Cowboy's starters that performed worst than Roy Williams last year. No excuse for him making that kind of money.

Hoyte, Anderson, Ayodele, Jones, Crayton...should I go on?

Julius Jones
Jacques Reeves - started due to injury, we all knew he was horrible
Marcus Spears - eventually got phased out by Hatcher, whom did well
Akin Ayodele - touche
Kyle Kosier - our running game and pass protection by most league standards was 2nd best in the business

You lose

Jeremy Stevens.... Yeah, I went there.

roy was playing at that level, he got paid at that level. now he's just todays kicking boy / trend.

*all the cool people* find new and amazing ways to bash roy. me - like i said. i don't care. he's on the team and not going anywhere so bashing him is pointless to me.

but you have fun. i hear hate can keep you warm.

But he's right. You did lose.

Haha

Seriously there is no sense to bash him. Julius won't be around anymore so Roy takes the spot of whipping boy.

Roy is with the Cowboys and he will be for at least another year, so get used to, we have all heard your countless complaints in the other 500 bash Roy Williams threads. Get a grip.

What's the big deal? He was one of the top 2 SS on our team last year, so he deserved it. ;)

Ayodele #7?

Now for the dead money.....

Bledsoe #12?
Singleton #16?
Rivera #18?
Hannam #20?

WOW!

How much dead money is still tied up to these guys? I wouldnt think Singleton would have any, but what about Bledsoe and Rivera?

Fox Sports apparently doesn't know the different between 2006 and 2007.

All of those numbers were how much (total) each player was paid in 2006 -- not their cap number, not their base salary, just how much money they pocketed. The numbers for Bledsoe, Singleton, etc., were how much they were paid in 2006, not their "dead money" for 2007.

They even include Leonard Davis' $9,319,000 that the Cardinals paid him in 2006. We paid him more than $17 million in 2007.

And by the way, we paid Roy Williams a grand total of $564,200 in 2007. That's a little more than half of what we paid Keith Davis.

Rivera was the only one who cost us any "dead money" last year. Bledsoe, Singleton and Hannam have been off the books since they left.

Any one know were we can go to get the official salary of the players. I would love to know how much the players are counting against our salary cap.

Which players would currently count dead money against this year's cap, if any?

And how much?

love your sig. On the RW topic, if he's going to be here (which I'm sure he will be) and get paid that much money, he really needs to re-apply himself this offseason and dedicate himself to getting more lean, getting faster, and basic tackling fundamentals.

A true team player would recognize his lack of production and take a cut so guys can be added to compensate for his lack of ability. Not Roy, selfish, overweight, premadonna.

Another vote for stupidest post of the year
