Its not just on the road. We haven't looked great at home either. The teams we are beating we are beating in heart stopping close games. But I don't think we are any worse than many of the other "top" teams. As I wrote on Friday, the NFL is a league of parity. It really comes down to the breaks for most of the teams. We could have been 3-10 or 13-0 depending upon how all the games went that were decided by less than 7 points.
I guess that is my aggravation with many on this board. We have ZERO objectivity. They talk like we are going to sweep all of our remaining games and go on some major run like our 90's teams did.
This just in. Bledsoe is no Aikman. And these Cowboys are the 2000's version of an average to good team, not our 90's Cowboys.
I had a bad feeling there'd be a juggernaut playing today in DC. Didnt think it would be wearing maroon and gold, though. Cowboys dont look ready or mentally there today. This is the Commanders season, and theyre playing like it.
In August, a few of us projected us to be a 9-7 team, missing the playoffs. Sadly, looks like we hit the daily double.
Even though I don't mean that, I can't stand this football team. Taking games down to the wire every week and then lose to your rival two times in a season..nothing more sickening. The offensive line rivals the 2002 O-Line in suckiness and never have I been more sorry to be a Cowboys fan in my life. Way to go guys. HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS?????
I have absolutely ZERO confidence in this team in ANY aspect.
Can we hold a lead? Nope.
Can we get an early lead? Nope. BP would rather play a Time of Possession game.
Are we going to be able to comeback today? Nope.
It's been like this ALL YEAR LONG.
There has been only ONE time this season where we "knew" that we would win by halftime....and that was the first Philly game.
It's over for this team.
We fall to third place in the division behind the freakin' Commanders.
Call this a "chicken little" thread if you wish.....I'll call it reality for all of you kool-aid drinkers.
