Chido scouting report

Our front office cannot draft defensive players.

Look at all the premium picks that have been blown lately on defensive players.

Gregory, Taco, Chido, Trash Hill, Jaylon,

they have a few hits of course. D Law and Maliek Collins I’ll give them. Not bad for a 3rd rounder.

but man some of those misses are killing this team right now.

it gets even worse if LVE’s neck continues to be an issue.

Gregory and Irving were very talented. They just loved weed too much.

I guess the FO under-estimated Garrett’s power to influence and motivate.. (sarcasm)

And it was well known, making Gregory a terrible draft pick.

You’re absolutely right. Both are very very talented players.

Though, it can also be argued that the only reason the Cowboys has a chance to take them in the first place, was due to their off field issues.

Gregory would have been a top 5 pick if he didn’t have his issues.

But yeah. If weed wasn’t a banned substance it’s very possible both guys are dominating in the league right now.

Doubtful. If a person can't stay off drugs long enough to make millions of dollars, they have major mental issues.

Need to play this guy in press-man where he can use his strength at the LOS. Otherwise, put him at Safety where some analysts thought was his best position.

Major mental issues don’t necessarily preclude guys from being good football players.

Lawrence Taylor, Charles Haley, Michael
Irvin, Hollywood Hendrerson.

dude you could spend all day listing the great NFL
Players who had mental health or substance abuse issues.

even Mark Stepnoski used to smoke weed all the time. He was just smart enough to circumvent the tests.

Of course.

However, those guys were never challenged to quit drugs in order to make millions.

Right, so it’s hard to know how they would
Have handled it, if placed in the same situation.

His strength is zone though.......Yet Byrons is man. Were built so dumb.

I don't see the instincts and/or quickness to thrive in zone. At least when he plays man, he generally does a good job mirroring the WR. He just has no awareness to play the ball.

You gotta figure something out where he can succeed. Especially if Jones leaves...

Make him a FS, pay Byron, and draft a new CB. Cut the X-Worthless Woods.
