Sure you don't, and then when we lose in the playoffs on the road to Brady you'll have no clue why.

So you literally erase all games played right after they're played and don't think they paint a picture of how good the team is overall? So I guess we're 0-0 huh you can't even remember the wins or the loses because you don't look backwards.

:lmao:

Yes, I discard the result of the game after its played because it doesn’t matter anymore. Whatever can or can’t be learned from the win or loss is for coaches to address moving forward.

Knowing the result and caring about it are two different things. We have (or did coming into this week) the best record against potential playoff teams than any other team in the league. That says more than not beating the Titans by 30, which is what this thread is about.

The point is most certainly not specious. It’s a fact. You think the Chiefs having won a SB somehow makes it better that they could barely beat the lowly Broncos? Or that because we haven’t been to a SB, we need to win games more convincingly during the regular season?

Rubbish.

How about just not blow games that we easily should have won against several teams with losing records? Can we settle for that instead of more convincing wins?

LOL. well, yes.

Again, no one panicked losing twice to the 6-10 Commanders in 1995. That is because the team proved its mettle. They also have only lost 3 games - 2 to the Division leading Bills and Bengals. Dallas lost 4 to a .500 TB team, a sub .500 Jax team (up 17) and a sub ,500 GB team (up 14). Find me where KC blew 2 double digit leads like that.....

oh you cant

Hey, I’m all about beating teams we’re supposed to beat, and blowing double digit leads is terrible. It’s the hand wringing after a win like the Titans game that gets on my nerves, and specifically what this post is about.

K.C. squeaked by the Broncos 27-24, and the Broncos were in it until Wilson got sacked on the last play of the Broncos last possession at the end of the game. The Chiefs entered the game as 12.5 point favorites, failing to come anywhere close to covering the spread.

I have no idea if the Chiefs fans overreacted to the close win the same way Cowboys fans reacted to our victory over the Titans where we were 13.5 point favorites and covered without issue.
'LovingItAll' --- If you go over to 'Arrowhead Pride' (SBNation Kansas City fansite) --- you will see that they are just as distressed, perturbed, troubled, upset, and worried about their team's performance on Sunday:
○ Broncos have scored 20+ points 5 times this season - with the two highest v. KC (28 and 24)
○ No running game - and the HC seems not concerned about having one for the playoffs \ one fan post:
'I'm so tired of seeing us throw the ball on third and one.'
○ Chiefs fans abhor their DC 3x more than CZers dislike OC Moore.
○ KC commits critical errors (drops, penalties) at the worse times
○ Team plays down to inferior competition
○ KC secondary is their albatross\whipping boy
In summary - their fanbase is far from being content.

When was the last one? I dont recall Cowboys fans get worked up by losing to the 9ers in 1994 and 1995 regular season, losing to the Browns as well as being swept by the Commanders in 1995. In 94 losing to the Commanders cost HFA. but I recall it coming off 2 straight SBs
The Commanders didn't exist in the 90's.
The point is specious. The Chiefs have been to SBs and Championship games this decade.....Dallas has won 2 playoff games in 27 years. Their benefit of the doubt to "turn it on when they want" expired in 2008
I'd rather be a Cowboy fan than go 53 years between Super Bowls.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw the same type of comments on any fan board. ‘Playing down to the level of competition’ Is what we’d read every time a decent team has a close call with a team they should run over.

It could be worse. We could be Vikings fans.

What do you mean it doesn't make a difference in the playoffs? It literally does that can factually be proven. We would just have to win against Washington next week who's eliminated and we would be the #1 seed. That means we don't have to play the first week and we have HFA throughout the playoffs. What are you even talking about?

In order to get the top seed, we have to win, Philly has to lose, and San Francisco has to lose.

I think the 49ers will win. It wouldn't surprise me if the Eagles lose. The Eagles are in bad shape.

Which means we likely play Green Bay or Detroit in round one. I personally would like to play Detroit round 1.

The irony - Vikings and Chiefs fans will have home playoff games...maybe even get the No.1 seed and the byes.

This site auto changes RS to commanders...even from 30 years ago. Go figure

Difference between the Chiefs and the Cowboys is that in the last 5 years Cowboys have won 1 playoff game, while the chiefs won a Superbowl.

So the Chiefs get much more leniency then we do, since they've proven they can win in the playoffs, while we've proven that we can just let fans down by losing any chance we get In January
